Hard Ground? No Problem!,June 5, 2009

"Dry, rocky ground is a challenge for decoy stakes, but not this one. This came with my B Mobile decoy, but I bought a second for my other decoys. The rugged built -in "step" makes anchoring them is the toughest ground a breeze. Two piece design allow for easy storage in back of vest."

"The stakes are good for hard ground but you do have to connect them tightly together so they don't make noise banging together in your vest. Being made of metal, they are a bit heavier to carry as well. They do a great job of biting into hard ground.......which is why I purchased them. The extremely cheap stakes that you get with your decoys break far too easily. It would be nice to find some fiberglass or similar lightweight material stakes that would be durable enough to penetrate hard ground."
