Hunters know that moving decoys are more realistic than still ones, and the slightest breeze puts this Swingin' Hen Decoy's head in motion. The feeding position combined with head movement puts wary toms at ease. Its detachable head decreases the chance of loss or damage during transport. The Swingin' Hen is made from the same material as the popular B-Mobile Strutting Gobbler Decoy and can be rolled or folded up for transport in your vest.

POOR DESIGN,June 23, 2009
By Anonymousfrom Upstate PA turkey hunter.
"The decoy arived in a crushed condition. I could not get the decoy to unfold nor would the turkey head swing. It looked like the decoy was shot with a load of #4s. Rating forced me to give it at least 1 star...should be 0 star."

"Used to get a turkey in May,2009. It took a while to get the folds out of the decoy from shipping. Once out of the box, worked ok to lure in a Tom."

Turkey Decoy,May 6, 2009
By Bucker26from WV
"The Primos Swingin' Hen Turkey Decoy is a very good decoy. It is very durable, light, and folds up well. The design is well thought out and works well. The stake design is sturdy and simple. The 2-piece construction works alright but can be a little odd to handle. The decoy might be a little mis-shapen once opened, but it will pop-back to full form after a little heat is applied. Overall it is a very good turkey decoy and I see myself using it for many years to come."

Fantastic,May 2, 2009
By glasgowmfrom Kansas
"I got this decoy today and used it right away. I used hot water on it first, to reshape some dents from packaging but that was pretty simple. The added motion of the head is GREAT."

Glad i went this product.,April 22, 2009
By Shayd14from Halcott Center, NY
"This decoy is great. First day i used it, i was scouting in the morning and i had three different flocks come in, with barely any calling. Had the hens and the toms fooled. It got them to come in and if i was hunting, it held the turkeys long enough for a shot. Only one day of use so far but cant imagine it getting worse. Molding it is easy, but defiantly practice with it before going out in the woods. Stakes are different."

great working decoy,February 9, 2009
By msuundfrom Riverdale, North Dakota
"I have two of these swingin hen decoys. I purchased my first four years ago and have had great success with it and now my newly purchased second. They are easy to use and box back up. I usually bring them out a day/two before using them and run hot water over them to soften and get the wrinkles/dents out of them... and then run cold water over them so they will firm. Using these hens along witht the Primros jake has made my spring turkey hunting very successful over the years and I highly recommend them."

crumpled mess,January 27, 2009
By frostyjayfrom kingsland, ga.
"i ordered this decoy because to me it looked very realistic and i liked the idea of the extra motion of the swinging head. when i got it out of the box i was instantly disappointed. it was just rolled up, folded, and crammed in there. the hard rubber shell of the body has a lot of memory and was a crumpled mess. it didn't much resemble the shape of a turkey. I've had mine about two weeks now. i stuffed a bunch of old tee-shirts inside it to force and hold the dents out. today i pulled the tee-shirts out and it held its shape a little better. i set it up in the yard to see how it looks, and again i was disappointed. the head doesn't really swing. there was a breeze today, but the head just kinda' hung to one side. i wish, if anything, i would of just bought the "she-mobile" model."

Do many problems,May 14, 2008
By Totemkopffrom PA
"I like the concept of the moving head, but the quality of this product was poor. The attachment of the head needed quite a bit of tweaking just to prevent it from falling into the body. I had to spent a lot of time heating out all of the dents and folds from the way the item is packaged. I don't know why they have to ruin the item by cramming it into to small of a box."

Set Up Malfunctions,May 7, 2008
By adkhunter7from New York
"Decoy looks good except for fold dents that have to be held out with foam rubber or sticks in the field. Swinging head mechanism needs a tweak in the shop. The die cut hole on the chest is too big causing the head to collapse inward on motion. It can be fixed by opening the small hook on the bottom of the neck with a screwdriver blade. Then just hook the hook through the hole and your good to go. Go easy with the driver a little bit at a time until she fits just right without cutting the plastic around the hole. Put some glow paint on the wing nut for those O dark thirty set ups. Average value for not perfect out of the box performance. You pay your hard earned money for products that work out of the box if you have to fix them from new its not a good value. I know I could have sent it back for a refund , but the cost of shipping it back would have offset the savings value so I chose to fix it instead."

Swingin Hen,April 29, 2008
By NickfromMOfrom Eureka, Mo
"One of the best decoys out there for the money. Looks very very realistic. I can't see any reasy why you would need anything more detailed than this. With a light wind Swingin Hen really dances. The head movement really does look like a real turkey out there. Primos makes quality stuff so I didn't expect anything less than a great product. Killed a bird yesterday using only Swingin Hen(didn't have time to set anything else up), but the gobbler came in hot from about 75 yards, tackles Swingin hen, then I slung a 3 1/2 #5 at him and ended his fun."

Swingin' Hen Turkey Decoy,February 27, 2008
By Colonelpeachesfrom Waterloo, Iowa
"Looks just as nice as the B-Mobile Tom and the She-Mobile Hen. However, I'm a little skeptical about the "movable" head. Right out of the box, the "neck hole" in the body is "misshapen" to the point that the head does not fit into it well and I do not think it will move properly. However, this may straighten out fine once the body has time to return to it's original shape. It's the dead of winter here with 3' of snow on the ground, so can't "set it up" and leave it to see how it does. Otherwise, I'd give it 5-stars like other Primos products."
