Double Bull introduces a Dark Horse that leads the pack when it comes to ground blind innovation. The optimal wind
resistance of the famously effective Double Bull T5™ has been combined with the infinite visibility options of the
Matrix 360°™ to produce a ground blind that incorporates all of the best features of both its parents. A strong,
yet lightweight hub-style frame is the support system and setup time can be measured in seconds. The rugged,
weather-resistant camo cotton/polyester fabric wraps the entire blind in invisibility and won't shine in the sun. The
exciting new camo pattern, Ground Swat™, is a Pattern Masters™ concept design that blends into more
hunting scenarios than any other single pattern on the market today. A black interior absorbs light, cuts down on
shadows and minimizes game-spooking reflections from within. The window arrangement offers unmatched visibility
so you'll be able to see game approach from any direction. A huge 6'4" diameter and 5'7" center height make plenty of
room for you and a hunting partner or friend with a video camera to catch the action. Shoot-through mesh on the
windows adds to the concealment for archery hunters. There are also shooting ports for firearm hunters. Four wall tie
downs and four stake rings secure the blind, even in gusty winds. Includes a carrying case with
backpack straps and a 30-minute bowhunting demonstration DVD.

Great blind but practice at home,October 9, 2009
By Berkmofrom Lincoln Nebraska
"I purchased this blind a couple of years ago and like it a lot. It has quality construction and is very sturdy and reliable. It is a little bulky to carry into & out of the field but the benefits outweigh the extra effort.
Getting used to setting it up can be a challenge so I recommend practicing the setup several times at home prior to taking it to the field. Nothing like trying to get set up at your favorite deer or turkey spot and still struggling and sweating trying to get the blind up when the sun starts to rise!
It costs more than other blinds but I view it as an investment in a quality piece of equipment just like my other gear."

Pricey but the best blind on the market,May 14, 2009
By kklhfrom Pueblo, Colorado
"I bought this to replace my original double bull blind. Its amazing for turkey, antelope, and javelina. This is an improvement over the original double bull, and I've had it for maybe 10 years and it's still in good shape. The improvement in the availabilty of increased shooting capacity really increase your odds for a good shot with the bow. This blind is simply Unbelievable for turkeys with a bow. It allows for 8-12 yard head shots on turkey. But spend the money if you can afford it for the wild thing backpack, and you wont be working your tail off to get it and your gear up the mountain, or in the field. I havent used for deer because I treestand hunt for them, worked good for elk just not mobile enough. I would Highly recommend this blind if it's within your budget. It's pricey, but it's the best ground blind on the market."

Great Blind,May 11, 2009
By CBrianfrom Lexington, KY
"Eventhough this is one of the most expensive blinds on the market and it comes with an instructional DVD.....it is extremely difficult to get set up the first time. After finally figuring it out after several hours of attempting and running back inside to re-watch the video instructions, I will say that it is a FANTASTIC blind! It is extremely east to take down and pack up. As for carrying it into the woods in the dark along with stools and hunting equipment, it is a bit much to carry. I would consider investing in one of the packs designed to carry it and a stool on your back."

Double Dark Horse,May 5, 2009
By Unhappyturkeyhunterfrom Iowa
"I rated this blind a one due to the zipper going bad in less than two weeks. Whats sad is I used the door twice and the zipper came off. Once the zipper comes off there is no way to get it back on. The other reason is the blind is pretty bulky to carry in the field. The wild thing pack should come with the blind for the price as well. Other than those two problems its a good blind. My Ameristep doghouse blinds is just as good and alot cheaper, not to mention I've had the doghouse for 8 years and haven't had a problem with it."

Dark Horse,April 9, 2009
By NEIowaBowtechfrom NE Iowa
"Double Bull Archery really outdid themselves when they engineered the new Dark Horse Hunting Blind.... The result is an awesome blind with 180 degrees of view out the front... I recently bought the Dark Horse after many recommendations from fellow friends.... The material/ and zippers are very durable... The blind is very spacious, with plenty of room for you and a hunting partner or friend with a video camera to catch the action. The shoot through mesh on the windows are excellent for deer hunting, by adding to the concealment for archery hunters. If you are looking for a great blind, its worth the money to purchase a Double Bull!!!! Happy Hunting..."

DB Dark Horse,December 1, 2008
By mossyoak9from Allen, Oklahoma
"This blind lives up to the DB name very easy to setup and well designed . I will be the first to admit I was upset to see DB leave the Predator camo and go to the Ground Swat camo. Well now I am sold on the Ground Swat it just blends in better to me in my area. In fact I beleive this New Ground Swat camo to be the best camo on any blind I have owned. These DB blinds aren"t cheap but you can feel the difference in the material and workmanship more and more when you use the blind. There's a reason people compare other cheaper blinds to a DB and that reason is DB blinds are the best out there right now hands down."

Poor Color,November 18, 2008
By bow77hunterfrom western WI
"I rated the blind rated a one because of the color. It is mostly a very bright yellow like the sun. Hunting hardwood forests it sticks out like a sore thumb. Also another pointer is to watch the video very carefully that comes with the blind to learn how to set the blind up."

great blind,October 26, 2008
By huntontariofrom Ontario Canada
"Easy to use, sturdy. Only negative comment asides from cost is it gets a bit stiff in the snow. Don't buy the snow cover. It looks hideous - better off using white king size fitted sheet. Company should give you some kind of discount if buying both blind and wild thing double bull pack."

Dark Horse Double Bull Blind,October 22, 2008
By GMCAfrom Madison County, Fl
"I recently purchased a Double Bull Dark Horse Blind at the recommendation of another bow hunter who has used a Matrix 360 for several years. I bawked at the price but then considered I was buying top quality merchandise for serious hunters. I was surprised to see I had purchased a substandard peice of equipment. Noisy zippers. scratchy fabric, insufficient hooks and bands to secure the windows and shoot through screen and no tie down stakes to name some of the disappointments. There is no way to secure the shooting port in the front of the blind, a mild breeze brings the rolled up port down. The instructional video says to brush the blind in when in close quarters but the noise of the branches scratching on the blind drives the game away in any breeze. Openning the noisy zippers to gain entry to the blind is further frustrated by having to wrestle a hook and strap off of the inside of a black hole shooting port in the doorway. Lastly, on the third use in site number two the bottom portion of the doorway zipper lost three teeth and no longer works. I did find a good use for the blind. I positioned the blind as instructed in the dvd, (next to a tree, in the shade) on the edge of a food plot that was struggling due to the drought conditions and it kept the deer off of the plot until it became established. Seems the scratching of the limbs were as untolerable to the deer as they were to me. I will try the blind during turkey season and hope there is an opportunity to use the blind for it's intended purpose."

This blind rocks!!!,October 20, 2008
By lodissfrom Nebraska
"The blind works so well a rabbit actually ran into the blind because he didn’t see it!!! The setup/takedown is extremely easy and the blind is so roomy my father and I had all of our gear in it w/o problems. Ya, the blind is expensive, but it is worth every penny. This blind is proof you get what you pay for."

Primos Double Bull Dark Hourse Hunting Blind,October 13, 2008
By Oldmountainman
""I was very impressed with the product over all, it worked excellent, the color blended extremely well with the environment and the deer walked right up to it, as shown on the Video. I will strongly recommend that you watch the instructional video showing you the trick to razing and lowering the Blind, there is a trick to it, once you have master it, you can put it up and down in seconds. I wasn't as impressed with the shoot through netting, as I had problems with it deflecting my arrows, however with the netting down, I had excellent success and I still had excellent concealment from the blind.
This Hunting Blind really does work!""

THE BEST OF THE BEST!!,October 9, 2008
By 1776Flintlock1776from Annandale NJ
"360 degree shooting ability and the deer get almost too close!
I wish they would bring back the Matrix RECURVE model for the taller hunter (like me).
No shine! Total scent control! Quality materials that don't flap and make noise.
The most expensive blind out there but there is a reason!
You won't go wrong with this one!"

Double Bull - Works,September 24, 2008
By AZFirefrom Camp Verde, AZ
"Set - up on a tank that we had seen a few good bulls coming into. The bulls came in and they never even looked at us. Even when at 3 yards. Was a little suprised at how well the shoot through netting worked. 60 yard shot and arrow went right where I wanted it. Great pruduct will use mine religiously!"

DarkHorse Blind,August 18, 2008
By walkswithcarefrom vinton, ia.
"Have not used my blind in the field as of yet, I rated 4 stars because of this. Ease of setup is outstanding, just watch the video ( carefully, several times ) and dont force anything. Practicing from my DarkHorse, I find plenty of room, for 2, large, people, bows and gear. All expectations of this blind have been exceeded so far. I did spray outside roof area with water treatment , just something I do. Longevity of this blind is to be determined."
