Tried alot, love these!,August 17, 2009
By Fiostechfrom Cumberland, RI
"I've tried many other hikers with steel toe's for work, and a few brands left foot odor in them. These shoes are perfect, no foot odor at the end of the day and are very comfortable. Seems tough and have had them for about 2 months now. Feet are kept cool and just so you know, I wear either a 10 or 10 1/2 I ordered the 10 too see, Thank goodness, they feel like 10 1/2 so I imagine a 10 1/2 would be too big."

Cabelas vent, Steel Toe,June 16, 2009
By rnmzfrom Delmont, Pa.
"Excellent light weight work boot. The vented holes let your feet get much needed air, so your feet remain cool. No break in period needed. This is a very good priced shoe. Thanks"

"Using the product now for one month. The lacing system was not very durable, the bottom most eyes are alredy ripped out. The shoe is not also good for use in terrain with sharp rock as here in middle east, already started chipping away."

Best boot for the price,June 15, 2009
By Anonymousfrom Phoenix Arizona
"I work in an industrial maintenance job which finds me on my knees, on my feet, up and down ladders, on roofs and in holes with picks and shovels...well you get the point. I wear these boots because they perform and keep my feet comfortable. The fit is always perfect and the steel toe box has never given me any discomfort, unlike other brands that cost much more. Cabelas has been my first choice for work wear for more than 20 years."

Not very good quality,April 20, 2009
By Mesmtigerfrom Goshen, IN
"Bought these because I have had great luck with other boots purchased from Cabela's. After one week of wearing them to work, the bottom eyelets broke on both shoes. They really need to be reinforced better. Returned for the Wolverine boots- same price, similar style, and much better quality. Very good customer service though! No problem returning defective boots and received replacement order quickly."

horrible boot,September 27, 2008
By huskiedudefrom rogers, MN
"This boot was not anything what I expected. It was great when I tried it on but my first day of actual use my big toe felt like the skin was rubbed off completely after only 5 hours of work from the steel plate inside the left shoe(another reviewer said the same thing) It also was very uncomfortable for my legs and feet I felt like I had been in them for 15 hours! I would not recommend this boot to anyone poor quality for the self proclaimed "legendary outfitter.""

OK,September 8, 2008
By JED123from Tyler, Texas
"The shoes are light which is what I was looking for.... the insoles are low quality... fixed it with my old insoles... the biggest problem is that the steel toe on the left shoe was too curved... it wrapped around too far to the inside and pushes against my toe. I would probably not have purchased them if I had actually tried them on first.... but the price is good and my welding vice grips were able to get a bite on the steel so I fixed them enough that I'll be able to get my moneys worth. Oh almost forgot they seem to be built sturdy enough to hold up to a good beating. Because of the bent steel toe hurting me I cannot recommend the shoe."

comfotable work shoe,August 28, 2008
By fatsweatyguyfrom Upatate NY
"I have to wear steel toe for work, and have tried shoes that were 3 times the price of these and my feet were hurting after 4 hours. These shoes were comfortable on day 1, they are a light & good looking shoe I've even worked some 12 hour shifts in these shoes & had no issues with foot pain."

Great For Work,July 29, 2008
By Robbifrom Great Falls, Montana
"I bought these boots specifically for working in warm weather. Since I'm in my work boots 10-14 hours a day it's important to stay cool and comfortable. Found these work/hikers to be exactly what I was looking for. They seem to breath alright and the sole is stiff, the way I like a work boot for construction. A little heavy, but that's the trade off for steel toe. I don't think anyone would be disappointed considering the price. I've worn them 6 days a week for a couple months now and haven't noticed any unusual wear or fraying."
