Great boots for both hiking and working,July 14, 2009

"These were not a very heavy boot. They were not very hot to wear. I wore them in El Salvador for 5 days and did not have a problem. The part of the steel toe was kind rubbung on side of my foot. But other then that could not realy tell they were a steel toe, do to the design and feel of the boot."

"The hikers have a very comfortable sole and seem to protect the toes well. However, the toe protection does (like all safety shoes) tend to hit the top of my toes when I walk. I can't use them for hiking, but they are great around the horses."

"I love these shoes!!!! I have smaller feet and have a difficult time trying to find a comfortable steel toed shoe. I have gone through more then i care to remember as they are a required part of my job but these shoes are comfortable and fit a womans foot with out wearing extra socks or a long break in period. I would recommend them to any one trying to find a good work shoe. I spend 12 1/2 hours a day seven days a week in mine and still have happy feet!!!!"

"I work settting up the stage for entertainers. I bought these boots for this job. I love them. They give great ankle support without binding and cutting into my legs. They are very lightweight and comfortable with ample toe room. "These boots felt like they were made for my foot from the first wearing. I have a difficult foot to fit because of a wide and high toe box but narrow heel. No problems there! After 2 weeks of use, sheep herding with my dog, I feel like they have molded to my foot. No ill effects from sheep stepping on my toes so the steel reinforcements are doing their job. After tramping through dry, dusty fields, piles of manure and muddy sections the boots held up exceptionally well. I would highly recfommend the steel toe hiker worker boot to anyone. The one problem I have had with the boot is that the shoe laces are too long and have to be retied several times and tend to drag on the ground. I am going to try triple knots next time."
