"These shoes are like the gortex jacket, or the poncho liner. Once you have used them you wonder what you ever did without. I recently did an Eastern Med tour and they were great for all surfaces, whether a slick deck, or a steep, winding mountain trail. I even did some PT in them and they felt great even after a couple of miles of good running. Easily the best and highest quality shoe I have ever owned, as they show NO signs of wear and tear, even after the abuse I put them through. The only downside is that they are a little narrow, and when I first put them on I was concerned with the fit. After wearing them for a couple of minutes I felt better, and now I think they are just made to stretch enough to accommodate fat feet like mine. So if i were to recommend a "needs improvement" I would say make them in wide sizes. Other than that this is the perfect shoe."

"I have used this shoe during 5 vacation days for casual wearing and walking in forest; it keeps foot temperature constant and has excellent cushioning. I would have preferred a little more support and a less agressive look so that I could wear it also in the.. office, but in general I feel I made a very good choice. Cabelas shipping is unusually fast."
