TC Fusion Primers for 50 Cal - Did not work with 7,January 9, 2009
By IceColdShooterfrom Minnesota
"I used these with Triple 7 50/50 pellets. I was unable to get a second shot without a thorough cleaning. I'm talking multiple patches. Heck I could not even get the first patch down without a hard scrubbing motion. Even then sometimes it took three patches just to reach the breach. 35 shots 1 full bag of patches.
No misfires, just not hot enough to get a clean burn at ignition
I would not use the TC Fusion 209's again."

TC Muzzleloading 209 primers,December 30, 2008
By LETreesefrom Northwest Missouri
"The primers came with a very handy carrier which holds 9 primers - the 10th of course was for the rifle!! They were packed 10 to a row so one whole row could be very easily handled without fumbling and loss of the small primers! NEAT!!!
These primers have worked everytime! I have not ever received a "click"!!
In addition, the quantity I ordered (500) came in packages of 100 thus leaving the rest sealed and in new condition.
Excellent packaging and though-out carrier design!"

I bought a box of duds!,December 10, 2008
By chessieohiofrom Ohio
"Last year I was sighting in my new TC triumph & I had at least 4 primers that didn't go off out of 13 shots! The same day I went & bought some Remington Kleanbore muzzleloading primers to make sure it wasn't my gun.I haven't had another misfire since! I'm sure I just got a box of duds, but I don't want to take the chance of getting one shot at a deer & having another misfire! The primers I had trouble with are the Thompson Center 209 IN-Line muzzleloading primers that say FUSION on the box!I figured with the Thompson Center name they had to be good!I was wrong."

"I have shot over 200 times with no misfires and no delayed ignition!! I shoot a "Triumph" muzzle loader with 130 gr. pellets of Triple 7 & a 250 grain Hornady Low Drag bullet...an excellent primer and I strongly recommend it........."
