It is constructed with flatlock stitching, ergonomic seam placement and raglan sleeves for superior comfort, mobility and fit. "I wanted to try these vs traditional winter underwear. I bought the shirt and bottoms that go with it. I am very pleased with them so far, it's been a cold winter in PA this year so I have used them a lot. I really like the fit, everything stays in place. Unfortunately I had to attend a funeral in early January, I wore the bottoms under my suit pants while outside on a 20 deg day and they did their job. The form fit makes them comfortable. I just hope I get a few winters out of them for the price."

"Needed something for work because the office area is kept cooler in winter (company saving money). The usual cotton waffle tops and henleys are OK for warmth, but in warmer areas I'd sweat and end up with a clammy top back in the cooler space. And they are pretty bulky to wear under a shirt.

The coldgear base 1.0 crew is great because it wicks sweat away so you're always dry next to the skin. And it provides great warmth even though it's lightweight. It's like a second skin so it's not bulky but doesn't feel tight.

Regarding fit, I order based on the size guide & chest measurement and it's perfect. Note that it is tapered. Also, I'm 5'10" and the length is perfect. If you're taller, it might be too short.

Overall, happy with this product."

"This does just want it said it would keep you dry and warm
I still wear layers of cloths but not as many which is nice I'm lighter with out as many layers so don't get tired has fast and cold has fast when doing work out side. Will buy more."

"Keeps you warm when layered with a dry top! I kayak fish in the ocean alot and this item seems to perform exactly as it is intended. These shirts are great for this type of physical activity. When it gets colder I put on the 2.0 base shirt."

"I waited for Under Armor to go on sale. Glad I did. After wearing this several times, duck hunting, deer hunting I can say this stuff doesn't work. I actually feel this stuff makes you cold and it might be great for active sports but sitting in a tree or duck blind Under Armor just doesn't work."

"I purchased this item just prior to heading to North Dakota waterfowl hunting. It was the first thing I put on in the morning and wore it all day. It performed better than I could have hoped. Great product, however, way too much packaging. That part was a waste."
