Low kick,September 10, 2009
By InertiaDrivenfrom Baltimore, MD
"My 9 & 10 year old boys (75lbs) shot 40+ round of these 12 guage shells with no problem. never complained about recoil. Only drawback was they were too light to eject properly in the inertia driven auto."

Great for Cowboy Shoots,June 17, 2009
By AlchemyJohn
"This is the load you want for Single Action Shooting Society (SASS) shoots. I can shoot these rounds all day without my shoulder hurting. My wife will only shoot a 12 gauge if it is loaded with Winlites."

win lite shells,March 9, 2009
By jughilljake
"These shells were needed for rapid firing from a 12 ga. SXS but they hang in the chambers and will not slide out by their own weight the way the AA shells do."

Significant reduction in recoil,February 23, 2009
By ShadowShooterfrom Irvine, CA
"I was comparing ammo for my wife to shoot. She is 5'7" and light as well as a first time shooter so I was looking for something that would be as comfortable as possible. I compared Federal, Winchester AA extra light, Estate and Winchester Winlite low recoil target loads. IMO, there was no difference in recoil between the Federal, Winchester AA extra light and Estate target loads. (Albeit all good loads w/ little recoil. In fact, I was going to have her start out with one of these, but then I found Winlite.) There was a significant reduction in recoil with the Winlite compared to the above mentioned loads. My wife absolutely loved shooting and can't wait to shoot again at the range. I highly recommend this ammo to anyone who is a first time shooter and/or sensitive to recoil."

These are great shells,January 27, 2009
By 1Ronin
"I purchased these shells so that my son and I could practice at the trap range before hunting upland game, with our over and under field guns. These shells are great. They work as advertised low noise and definitely a significant reduction in recoil. They work fine in the inertia cocking of the second barrel of our Caesar Guerini Over and Unders. In both 20 gauge and 12 gauge.
As a matter of fact, we have even tried them in the field with pheasants and the birds drop just fine."

Winlite/feather lite shotgun shells,December 17, 2008
By Leadslinger2from SE Pennsylvania
"My wife and I have been using these shell for about a year and a half now. I have gone through 2+ cases without a single complaint. We shoot Cowboy action which consists of knocking down steel targets at around 50 feet. We have also shot skeet with these shells. At a distance you can tell the difference in these shells as you must lead the target a little more. If you want a low recoil and low noise solution this is the one. I would only recommend them in pump and double barrel shotguns that have mechanical cocking due to the low recoil. I particularly like these because of the tall brass that allows easy extraction for fast reloading. These shell have never failed me."

Winlite Shells don't cock inertial trigger,September 9, 2008
By Recoilwimpfrom Jackson Hole, Wyoming
"While the Winlite shells do have very low recoil, they don't provide enough recoil to cock the second trigger of my Rizzini over/under shotgun when the first barrel is fired. Don't buy these unless you have a mechanical cocking trigger for both barrels. I'm sure they wouldn't work with most gas guns either which Winchester warns you about. They'd also be fine with pumps which is probably what they were intended for since they were made for training female police officers."
