Best Bullet on the Market,September 14, 2009
By doverpackfrom Missoula/ MT
"The nosler e-tip is simply the best bullet on the market. It has amazing accuracy because of it's high B.C. and also retains 100% of its weight when shot into an animal or sand pile."

E Tips for the 270WSM & 300WSM,July 29, 2009
By MGBaileyfrom Mtn. Green, Utah
"I have been shooting the Nosler E-Tips in my two Sako rifles,(270WSM & 300WSM) this past year. Reloading for this bullet took some time to find the right powder charge and seating depth for the bullet, and results have been rewarding. I have shot half inch groups of three shots at 100 yds. consistently at the shooting range.
Last fall I was able to hunt antelope in Wyoming with the 300WSM 150gr. E-Tip. I shot a great buck at 274yds. through the lungs. The buck took two steps and went down for the count. The bullet made complete penetration with an exit hole the size of a 50 cent piece. I know that an Antelope is not a hard animal to kill, and to some it my seem over kill to use an E-Tip on them. I choose this bullet because of its great accuracy and all around ability to harvest a large varity of game. I have recovered 30 cal. 180gr. bullets from mule deer that weigh 120grs. to 129grs. in the hide on the off side of the animal. I am yet to recover an E-Tip from an animal. I have recovered E-Tips that I have shot into a bundle for Cabelas catalogs and the 150gr. E-Tips weighed 149grs. after recovery. I clean my rifle after every 10 to 15 rounds and have not experienced any copper fouling in the barrel."

Great Bullets,May 22, 2009
By colt44from NC
"Got a box of these for my 30-06 in 150gr. I was suprised at the pattern I hot with these at 100yd's. I didn't think they would work in my 30-06 being balistic tip but they worked great. Can't wait to try these in my 270Win."

Elk Hunting,March 17, 2009
By Rocky1936from Georgia
"I reloaded the new e=tip in the 270WSM, 150 Grain bullet. I only fired one shot after sighting in due to the diffference in altitude from Georgia to Utah. the one shot was a 6x6 at 268 yards. He fell in his tracks. No tracking involved. Drove the truck right up to him. I definetly would recommend this round to everybody."

Nosler E-Tips,January 6, 2009
By PortCityShooterfrom Shreveport, LA
"As with most Nosler products, this one is top notch. I have used these in .308" 150 gr and 180 gr. Both are very accurate. I use the 180 gr. in a 300 RUM and the bullet holds together. Terminal preformance is as good as it can be. Everything I have shot has not taken a step after being hit. A notice comes in the box to start with reduced loads and I recomend that as well, these bullets seem to cause higher pressure than others. It is not a problem, just something to be aware of."

accurate but not deadly,November 22, 2008
By biggamehunter669from Oregon
"I will agree that these are accurate bullets, but I have tested and am very dissapointed in their killing ability. I shoot a 30-06 180 grain bullet. This year I shot two elk with them during elk season, the first elk was shot right in the front shoulder, the elk dropped in his tracks but as I was getting closer to put a second shot into the animal he jumped and ran off. At first I was not worried because I figured there would plenty of blood and at the speed he took off he couldnt have went far. unfortunatly that wasnt the case. When he fell he fell on his wounded side but when I got up there to the spot there was absolutley no blood whatsoever. NONE. I searched for that animal for 2 days to no avail. The next day after I shot another elk that ran off after the shot. As I started to track this elk I ran into the same problem, no blood. It was not until I had tracked him over 300 yards down the hill was there any sign of blood and it was a drop the size of a pencil eraser. After tracking him for about 1 mile and finding no more blood, I lost his tracks in thicket. I have been hunting for over 20 years and these are the only two animals I have ever lost and the first and last year to use these bullets. They are in no way worth what you pay for them and their performance was terrible on biggame."

E-Tips >>>>>,October 10, 2008
By CactusMikefrom Laguna Beach, CA
"Pleased to report my handloaded 30 ca. 150 Nosler E-Tip cartidges have proven accurate. They are more accurate than Barnes TSX (for my rifle) and accurate enough for hunting. My group avg. was 1.5" at 100 yds out of my Model 70 30.06. Surprisingly I got 2900 fps with a max load, but would have been satisfied with 2550. Had to give up Nosler Partitions (lead) here in Kalifornia with respect to preserving the state's population of condors. Actual hunting results remain to be seen, but due to the fact it's a Nosler product, I have faith these bullets will deliver humane terminal performance."

E-Tip Nosler 180 Grain,October 7, 2008
By Dagoredfrom Landisburg PA
"I shot a whole box of these bullets. used three different charges and have settled on the 73.5. The best I could do was 5/8" groups using a .300 Win Mag, Browning A-Bolt with a BOSS. I did not turn the BOSS yet. Since I must seat the bullets deep because of the magazine clip in the rifle I will have to rely on the BOSS. For an all copper bullet they are great; the Bullets shoot pretty well but not as good as the Partitions. I plan to try them on elk in Nov."

Quality, Quality, Quality!,October 7, 2008

"These bullets are my favorite to load for my .300 win mag. I haven't found a bullet yet that will out perform them. Very tight groups at 500 yards. We shoot at a 3/4 inch plate steel gong that measures 24 inches across when shooting at that range. It's not hard to see where you hit it with these bullets."

30 cal 180 nosler e-tip,October 4, 2008
By mikeinutfrom south jordan, ut
"Great bullet! Jessica, my 12 year old daughter used this bullet in my 30-338 h4831sc 71.5 grains at 2950 fps to take a 800 pound cow buffalo at 50 yards. Total penetration, entered left side chest through the heart and exited right leg. There was minimal meat damage. Buffalo went 10 yards and was down. Great accruacy .50 to .70 groups at 100 yards. Thanks Nosler !"

Great Bullet,August 31, 2008
By TominCAfrom Campbell, CA
"I like these bullets a lot - I load them over H4895 (270 win) in a fairly mild load. They will group less than 1" in my Rem 700 CDL which is just a light barrel sporter. It will not shoot Barnes well (2 to 3 inches at 100 yards) These bullets perform very consistently and look good! (they look like they could kill just about anything!)"

180gr. .30 cal. E-Tips,August 18, 2008
By 123148from SW Wyoming.
"I ordered a box to try out in my .300 Win. Mag. I loaded 9 rounds on top off 73.5gr. of RL-22, which is the max load per the people at Nosler. The three thre shot groups were ok, but not great. I also had nine rounds of 180gr. Partitions loaded the same way and the smallest group measured 3/16" x 3/8" x 3/8" center to center, a dime covered all three holes. They are very long bullets and had to be seated deeper than most others. They were seated .002 from the rifling and the base of the bullet was below the shoulder and into the body of the case. I always like to try out new products but I'll stick to Partitions."
