"Good quality product, would recommend them to anybody. I will buy them for any future scopes, but their sizing chart doesn't work. One fit perfectly, the other was too big, even though I printed up the chart and checked it against my scope. Not worth the cost of shipping back, next time I will just buy them at my local sporting goods store where I can take my rifle and scope in for a fitting."

"Good stuff and all the snipers on my SWAT team have them. Good that they're inexpensive because we break them all the time.
The objective lens covers tend not to hold closed after a while and they can get bent back when open quite easily and break. The eyepiece lens covers are a bit more sturdy, we've found.
Better than nothing."

Cap is good but doesn't stand the test of time.,

"I've had these caps on all my rifle scopes in the past and just added them to a new scope I purchased. I put it on for 1 hunting season and the ocular lense cap fell to pieces after 3 days in the field. I don't know if it was a defective cap or what, but I wasn't happy with it. I will however purchase another cap because I feel that protecting my lenses is critical."

"Light but firm touch opens cover. I have not had moisture collect on the lens after opening them due to temperature change. Also have not had them pop open while being transported in a case."

"been using these for years not one problem.keeps out dust ,moisture,mud. when you have to make a quick move across a muddy field or a wet thicket to get that shot on your deer,the last thing you want to see is moisture or mud on your scope lense when your ready to take that critical shot. it has happend to me. This was the cure."

"The multi flex eye 19-20 is a better fit than the standard Butler Creek flip open eye 20 (which is way too big for the eye end of these scopes)but still not tight enough to stay put in all conditions or be watertight.I've had to incorporate an O ring underneath it to take the play out and seal it.Great concept but does'nt fit the Swarovski properly so only 2 stars.If it fitted tightly i would have given it 5 stars."

"All scopes should be outfitted with a pair of Butler Creek Flips Opens. I've even outfitted my Zeiss Binoculars with a set. Only issue is it's hard not to make a snapping sound when closing them completely. This is particularly important out in the field hunting. You just need to recognize it and close lightly."

"Whoever thought of making scope caps is a genius. These flip caps are great! A definite must when you're stompin' through the buckbrush or manzanita, or when you're battling the elements. They keep my Nikon scope scratch free and dry. I liked how easy it was to figure out which size I needed from the chart. The objective lens on my scope fell between two different caps, so I chose the tighter size and it fit great."

Keeps the Optics Clean,

"I have a set of these on every scope I own. They work great on rainy, dusty, snowy days when you want to hunt with a scoped gun, but want a clear sight picture.
They open and close very quietly to avoid spooking close game when opened. Depending on the temperatures, and the fit of the caps to the scope, they can be a little tough to get snapped closed if it's very cold out. I solved this by sliding the caps off the scope about 1/4". They are still on plenty far enough to stay snug on the scope, but that extra flexability you get by pulling them off slightly will help with closing in cold weather.
I had one break on me. The eyepiece cap, with the push button, broke at the hinge when I opened it once at the range. I suppose this might eventually happen, but I would guess it hadn't yet been opened 20 times. I replaced it with the same part, and have never had any trouble with the others, so I think it was just a fluke."

"Was worried about the staying closed problems. Mine have worked great. I took a caliper and measured my optics and ordered the correct size and I have not had one bit of a problem with them staying closed. They work as they are supposed to."
