DOES NOT WORK IN FOG,October 23, 2009
By BIGBUCKBOWHUNTERfrom BATTLE CREEK, MI
"I WAS REALLY EXCITED WHEN I PURCHASED THIS B/C IT FIT THE HAND GREAT AND WAS EASY TO USE. PLUS YOU CAN HOLD THE BUTTON DOWN AND FOLLOW YOUR TARGET AND IT KEEPS UP WITH THE YARDAGE. AS GOOD AS ALL THOSE POINTS ARE, I RETURNED IT DUE TO THE FACT IT DOES NOT WORK IN THE FOG. I LOVE NIKON PRODUCTS BUT I COULD NOT JUSTIFY SPENDING THAT KIND OF MONEY FOR SOMETHING I CAN'T DEPEND ON ALL THE TIME. BUT IF YOU DON'T FEEL THE SAME AS I DO ON THAT THEN THIS IS A GREAT RANGEFINDER AND YOU WILL BE PLEASED."

Archers choice rangefinder,September 26, 2009
By Cherokeehunterfrom Tennessee
"The Archers choice rangefinder works great. I used it for 3 days of rain on a hog hunt. it did not fog up and the view is great. before I bought the Archers choice rangefinder, I seemed to always shoot high from a tree stand. I was able to kill a large boar this week using the archers choice rangefinder. when I ranged the boar using the angle compensating function on the range finder, their was a 4 1/2 yard difference. I was able to make a perfect shot using the archers choice range finder, killing a very large wild boar Thanks archers choice!!"

Nikon Archer's Choice Laser Rangefinder,September 10, 2009
By jdashcafrom San Jose, CA
"Incredibly simple to use, point and shoot. While I'm happy with the purchase, I'm irritated that Nikon didn't simply deliver a rangefinder that would be appropriate for archery and rifle hunting, especially for the price.
If you only bowhunt, this is a great product."

Distance right on,September 10, 2009

"Compared to two other brands on a rifle range and it was the only one that was completely accurate. Others were 1/2 to 1 yard off at 100 yards."

super accurate,September 10, 2009
By pete001from Liverpool Nova Scotia
"This rangefinder has got to be the easiest one on the market to use. just point and press the power button and it instantly reads the distance compensating for either incline or decline. I would have given it a 5 star rating, but when your ranging, the directions tell you not to look in the rangefinder because it is a laser and could damage your eye. It is hard to not look and get an accurate reading on your target, especially if you are as shaky as I am. Maybe they are all like this I don't know. Excellent product I had it to the range and it is dead on the range it tells you."

Love it,September 1, 2009
By MrsRitchfrom Baker City, Oregon
"I purchased this rangefinder to replace a Bushnell that was stolen out of our vehicle. I liked the options and have used it hundreds of times in the past 30 days just to range different stuff to train myself how to range without. The one key to remember and it was purely user error is to make sure that you do not have the M display when your trying to range yards. I sighted my bow in with the M displaying because I did not pay attention then had to re-sight it again when I figured out my error. Wonderful rangefinder and even works great in dim light for me."

Awesome,August 29, 2009
By gemini61361from New Jersey
"This rangefinder is excellent. I have had others and this is very easy to use, small and compact. I like the cover which is magnetic. The angle feature is a big plus. I recommend getting the retractable cord for it also. Makes life alot easier in the stand when that big buck comes along."

good archery rangefinder,August 29, 2009
By nchunter4from Raleigh, NC
"This is a good product. I like the case that comes with it. It can be a little difficult to pick up game over 40 yds and at dark otherwise I would give it a 5. I also would like to see this product with a feature to move/switch it to a longer range ability as well for the change in hunting seasons."

Bow Hunting,August 28, 2009
By Bull329from Minnesota
"Awesome light weight range finder, clear picture, good digital read out on the range. Has two modes angle and normal. Not 12 different modes like some other models. Only complaint was it doesn't give back a reading when there is a heavy rain. Good buy I would recommend."

A great tool for the field,August 11, 2009
By SteveFMfrom Dacono, CO
"This rangefinder is an amazing tool. I had it set up and running within five minutes of opening the box. Nikon made sure that it is almost foolproof for the newbie to operate with a quick review of the directions and figuring out how to install the batteries. After getting the rangefinder going I checked the accuracy and was amazed by how accurate it was. It is well built and has the quality one would expect from a Nikon product.
I highly reocmmend it for hunters and others.

Good choice for archers,June 23, 2009
By kmarshfrom Detroit, MI
"After studying all of the options I chose the Archer's Choice Rangefinder because of the price and features along with the included neoprene cover. As I typically hunt in close cover in Michigan the limited range of this unit will not be an issue and the accuracy seems very good. I have not used it in a hunting situation but have used it to verify my range after I shoot on my 3D target league and it works well. In fact another shooter with the same rangefinder and I measured the same target standing next to eachother and came up exactly the same distance. Either they are spot on or both exactly the same distance off. If you don't need all of the bells and whistles and can deal with the reduced overall range then I would seriously give this unit a try."

archers choice,June 17, 2009
By VirginiaCreeper140from Clarksville,PA
"i love this product. i have always bought nikon products wether its scopes, binos,or rangfinders.why?because they simply are the best for the money.you cant beat the clarity.ive used other products that claim they have the vest clarity and i always return it.another thing is how easy the product is to use.click the button to turn on aim and push it again and for angle just click the mode button once.yea the product is only good for 100 yards.thats why its called archers choice.its made for archers.if you want more yardage buy the rifleman 550.both very good products"

No difference,June 16, 2009
By pikoholefrom DDC Hawaii
"Its a nice feature to have the angle compensation, however I compared it to a normal rangefinder at about 30 yards elevation to an object measured with a normal range finder out to 60 yards away, and the difference in yardage was only 0.5 yard. If you need that 0.5 yard accuracy, Id say go for it. Or just use a 100 dollar nikon that I have and you'll end up with the same kills.
One really nice thing is the neoprene case and cover held by a magnet that flips down. Keeps the rangefinder really quiet when stalking.
Another good point is it ranges down below 10 yards. Bad thing is the max distance is 100yards."
