The Tactical Light Mount allow you to attach a flashlight to the handguard so you can identify your target in dark and low-light conditions and still operate your M-16 or AR-15 with both hands. Simply press the lock button and slide the mount to the desired location on any Picatinny or Weaver-rail-equipped handguard or accessory rail. A push-button quick-release system lets you remove the light mount quickly as well. Fits most SureFire and other 1"-diameter tactical lights. Flashlight not included.

"WELL MADE. I BOUGHT TWO. I HAD TO MODIFY THE INSIDE BORE OF EACH UNIT TO ACCEPT THE LIGHT I CHOSE TO USE BUT THIS WAS MY CHOICE NOT A PROBLEM WITH THE MOUNT. WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TO HAVE A LEFT HAND/RIGHT HAND CHOICE FOR THIS ITEM. WHEN YOU MOUNT TWO OF THEM WITH ONE ON THE RIGHT AND THE OTHER ON THE LEFT YOU END UP WITH ONE BEING BACKWARDS TO THE OTHER. PURELY COSMETIC BUT IT WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE THEM POINTED IN THE SAME DIRECTION FROM EITHER SIDE. MY LIGHTS HAVE LAZER ABILITIES AND WITH TWO MOUNTED ON MY AR-15 IN LAZER MODE ANYTHING BETWEEN THE LAZER DOTS IS HISTORY. FAST TARGET AQUISITION WAS MY THOUGHT."

Did Not fit,April 3, 2009

"I just placed a standard UTG quad rail on my AR-15 and I ordered this thinking it would be great for quick attachment of my light. When it arrived i mounted my 1" light in it with no problems. The issue came when I tried to slide it on my rail, and it was a good 1/8" to small. I had to do some serious filing to get it to fit properly. I would have returned it but unfortunatly I could not find anything else quite like it."

Poor quality - too tight,January 26, 2009

"Though this item was too big for my intended purpose (use on a pistol) it was also of marginal quality. It would not "easily" mount and dismount. The rail was much too narrow for easy on & off. It was so tight that it would fit only one of several rails in my possession and even to mount it to that, I had to get it started and then put the muzzle down on the table and press it on with much force. The quick release latches were useless because one could not move the thing to get the catches to line up with the rail slots."

"This is a good mount for your surefire or similar tactical flashlight. It fit very snug to my fromt mount and looks good on my new Bushmaster. I would recommend this to anyone. I usually don't give five stars unless the product exceeds my expectations, so don't read too much into that one clear star."
