"Started out with Speer No. 9 over 25 years ago. Found it to be very useful in getting started in reloading. Have maintained later issues and find them to all be good. No. 14 has a lot of the same info as in previous issues but has included cartridges that have been introduced since the last issue. Very informative. This should be required reading for all reloaders."

"This is a good addition to a reloading reference set. It is not complete and does not have some of the just released calibers. It has all the data that the vast majority of us want and if you load Speer bullets I can recommend this manual. It is not a specialty manual but more than likely it has what you are looking for. Don't let the negative reviews turn you off, this is a good (but not great) reloading manual."

"I have this book ,an sorry to say, I feel they let us down on this one they are lacking information on loads with other bullet types, shapes, vel,&ft lbs energy at the yards we want to know about, not much on different powders an diff primers. not to mention they dont even list the 204 Ruger, which is a popular bullet, i would honestly say dont waste yor money GO GET A HORNADY BOOK you will be glad you did. i have almost every loading type book an manual you can find an have been loading for over 40 years, i do prescision bench shooting at 500 & 1000 yards once in awhile 200 yrds I load 12 different calibers, also hold CMP DISTINGUISHED EXPERT TITLE so I know what im talking about,DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS ONE, GET A hORNADY , LEE OR SIERRA YOU WILL BE HAPPY YOU DID, HOPE THIS HELPS YOU BEGGINERS, I WAS A BEGGINER ONCE AN WISH SOMEONE WOULD HAVE ADVISED ME, IT WOULD HAVE SAVED ME ALOT OF MONEY AN TIME"

A great history of ammunition, definitions of each component in the reloading process and an excellent description of the steps to reloading. "What an incredible book. This is a big change from Speer #13. Its like a whole another book added to Speer #13. This book has many of the new cartridges that were developed since the late 1990s. Defiantly a must for any reloader or cartridge enthusiast."
