"I try to use this shooting aid with a pistol &rifle. I could not see the rifle & pistol sight very well and I try to adjust the sight but have no luck."

"I have used this item once and it works great. The reason I only gave it 4 stars is it will not work on any curved lens. My shooting glasses are curved so you can not get the suction cup to hold the eye piece straight. Make sure you have a flat surface so the eye piece will align with the suction cup."

"When I first got eyepiece I thought I had made
a mistake, but when I took it to the range and
tried it for the first time, it made a world of
difference. Without it the sights were fuzzy. At 64
yrs. old I was surprised how it cleared up all of the
fuzz. I may buy another one as a backup, in case
I break this one. I would recommend this for
someone with aged eyes like myself."

"DO NOT waste your money on this item. It is worthless! I purchased it and used it today at the range. It does not allow your vision to focus better. You can accompish the same thing by taking a piece of black electrical tape...punching a hole in the middle of it and taping this to your glasses. The suction cup and eyepiece combo is hard to position on your glasses. The piece you look through is nothing but a piece of plastic with a hole in it."

"I purchased this item as a result of failing old eyes hoping it would do half of what it advertises. I can happily say it far exceeded my expectations. I am seeing the targets clearly for the first time in years. I've only tried it on my handguns, but can't wait to try it on my open sight rifles.
I really appreciate Cabela's reviews. I have purchased many items (and because of bad reviews have steered clear) because of the reviews. Cudos to Cabelas for posting them, especially when one of their own products gets a less than a favorable review."

"I shoot in an indoor pistol league. After 2 years of less than good scores I tried the Hawkeye. Now I can clearly see both the target and the sights clearly. A major feat when you wear bifocals. My scores are now up to where they should be. I loaned the Hawkeye to another shooter and his score doubled from the previous week."

"I am 60 years old and my eyes aren't what they used to be. I put on the shooting aid over my shooting glasses and to my surprise the front sight ramp and the bulleye were as clear as when I was 20!!! What a great aid for the aging eye."

"O boy! What can I say? - I have heavy astigmatism that makes me use +4 progressive lenses for reading and walking and I thought I will never be able to see a target and a front sight together. The day I found and used Hawkeye Shooting Aid I had my best 10 yards shooting for last 5 years! This is a small but a very useful invention for shooters with or without vision problems."
