Potential Disaster Magazine,

"I bought two of these for my Ruger 77/22 WMR (bolt action) and my Magnum Research 1722 .22WMR graphite-barrel (semi-automatic) rifle. Neither of them would operate safely with these magazines.
Loading was easy enough but after the first 2-3 shots, JAM=NOFEED. Then getting it out of the rifle magazine chamber was a challenge - and dangerous. Now, the trick of unloading the 20 or so stuck cartridges from the magazine was FUN!!
It looks like a good design but the cartridge follower, internal to the magazine, doesn't keep the stack of bullets lifted into feeding position. I tried Remington, Winchester, and Hornady ammunition of different bullet shapes and grain weights. Nothing worked properly.
SIMPLY SAID - IT DOESN'T WORK!!!"

"I bought four and all of them jammed. It would have been nice having four 25 round clips for my 22 mag and 17HMR prairie dog hunting instead of having to carry 10 of the smaller ruger clips but i will now stick with the nine round ruger factory clips. Nothing is worse than a gun that keeps jamming. I am glad that i had 14 of the nine round clips and didn't depend soley on the shoot ridge magazines."

"This clip will not work with 45 grain Winchester ammo.
Ammo is too long for clip or clip is too short.
However if you are going to sell this product, this problem should be noted before the sale."

"I have read the reviews in here and see a few bad reviews...Well I bought this item last year and I have put countless rounds through mine where I did experience the odd "jam" where the shells were not cycling/loading properly. The spring tension was not the problem, the bullets were touching the front of the magazine right at the top...so instead of ditching the product and writing bad reviews I took a chainsaw file (or any other small file for that matter) and filed a very small amount of the front of the opening out...allowing a little more room for the bullet to move through...seems to work fine. I have no complaints about this product and would buy a couple more if they could be shipped into Canada.
So overall I like the product."

"I have a .17HMR Rugar bolt action rifle and the clip works great the first few times. After about the fourth full clip reload, the bullets have trouble feeding and the clip will not set properly."

"This thing is worthless
I cannot get this magazine to stop jamming. I'm lucky if I can get two consecutive shots off before it jams again. Bullets appear to be stopping before they're at the top of the magazine and the bolt misses them on the way into the barrel.
It happens no matter how many bullets or how few are in the magazine"

"The Magazine worked perfectly. Every bullet was picked up and fed into the chamber without any jams. It was great using the 25 round high-capacity magazine and not having to reload as often. Also the loading of the magazine was simple and flawless.

"I tried one of these with my Ruger 10-22 Mag and not only did it fail to feed properly, it broke after less than ten loadings. I should have learned my lesson from past experience with plastic magazines, they just don't hold up but they usually last past the first day unlike this one. I also agree with the first review, the cheap spring or overall quality of materials used to make this magazine is sub standard and is responsible for the failed fedding of rounds. Don't waste your time or money. My overall assessment is that it isn't suitable for a toy gun let alone one of my hunting rifles."

Don't waste your money.,

"I bought two of these for my 22 WRM, a Magnum Research semi-auto rifle. 9 shot factory mags work perfectly in it, the Shooters Ridge aren't reliable at all. I believe the problem is weak springs. In both mags, several times the mag failed to push the round to the top of the mag, into the feed lips. This cause numerous failures to feed. I cannot recommend this mag."
