"Stock did not match my Mossberg 835 Ulti-mag. Stock did not feel to be extremely sturdy and able to take the punishment that I would eventually put on it during turkey season. The one time I shot with it, the stock slid 2 positions during recoil. When that happened, I sent it back. There was also a large gap between the pistol grip and my trigger, which made for an uncomfortable grip and trigger pull."

ATI AR-15 Style buttstock for Mossberg 500/535,March 17, 2009

"I bought this for my Mossberg 535 and I wish that I would have bought the black buttstock. The Mossyoak breakup colors DO NOT match my gun at all. And the instructions said that the forend will fit the 535 but did not include instructions on how to install it. The reason they did not include it was becasue it does not fit my model. The feel of the gun is good but I just wish they were a little bit more upfront about the camo and the installation of the gun. Oh yeah make sure you know how to put your gun back together if you do replace the forend. Becasue not all of us are gun smiths and I had never had to take the trigger assembly out of a shotgun before. If you do take it apart and cant put it back together the internet will provide you VIDOES on a particular website to put you gun back together."

"Great idea, bad execution. The parts left a huge gap between my trigger guard and pistol grip. I didn't like this feature. Brand/model specific spacers should take this into account. Also, the geometry made it VERY difficult to use with a bead sight. If you have rifle sights, you'd be fine, but those of us who use a bead sight are left to our own devices. The company makes an off-set adapter that drops the angle of the stock; this should be included in the kit."

"I put this on my Mossberg 835 and it looks great. It took about 45 min. Not bad for such a great improvment in looks and performance. Great fit, gun is ready for battle with some turkeys in the spring!!!!"

"I returned the stock because the camo pattern did not match my 835 ulti-mag, and because one of the bolts that secure the mounting bracket to the stock was missing. It was not very comfortable when you shouldered the firearm."

"Camo pattern good and does not look like it will fade. Configuration ecellent. Pistol grip great for smaller hands and youth who can grow into the gun by adjusting as they grow. Grip allows for quick aquisition of target. Also great for storage. Stock does seem to have loose tolerances."
