Get down deep, where the big fish are, with Opti-Tackle's Copper Trolling Line. This seven-strand, 30-lb. and 45-lb. copper line is excellent for trolling spoons, attractors, cut bait rigs, plugs, etc. Most often used on in-line planer boards, but not recommended for use on Dipsey or Thumper rods. The 30 lb. sinks approximately 5 ft. to 6 ft. for every 10 yards; the 45 lb. sinks approximately 7 ft. to 9 ft. for every 10 yards. That means 300 ft. of 30-lb. copper line would fish around 60 ft. in depth; 300 ft. of 45-lb. line would fish around 90 ft. depending on trolling speed, currents and the weight of bait.
