"I live in Washington and hunt near Goldendale, WA. These are the best investment i have ever made. They work well in the brush as well looking 500 yards across a canyon. I pirchased the 8X42 so I could have the bigger field of view. I also did my homework before ordering them. I found that for the money they are 100 times better than the Wind River Cascades because the cascades only have the roof prisms coated and the Majaves have all of their lenses coated. They are crystal clear and don't fog up. also you have to love Leupold's warranty to the original owner!!!"

"These are a great set of binoculars. Light, tough and bright. They've been used in Western Wyoming in all sorts of weather - rain, snow, sleet, etc. Have held up well to abuse and no problems so far with weatherproofing. They seem to let in lots of light at dawn and dusk. Have not had much in the way of problems with eye strain, even after long glassing sessions. You can put Leupold Alumina Flip-Up covers on the front objectives, but be forewarned that the 40mm covers fit these binoculars, not the 42mm covers. I learned that the hard way."

"This product far exceeded my expectations. I was looking for binoculars for hunting and these are the one's. Cabela's had a sale and I got these for a steal. They are good in low light which helps in early morning or at dusk. I will keep these binoculars until the lenses fall off. "Have not had these in the field under harsh or extreme cold conditions (have used in 30-55 degree, dry weather), but these binos are extremely comfortable, easy to focus and adjust, and clarity is Leupold quality to the "T". Real good seeing detail at 500-600 yds, beyond that, hard to see detail but still able to see well. Wish they made a 12X42; would like to have had the Wind River Olympic 10X50 to compare but no regrets. Excellent binos all around."

"Great product!! We are waterfowling guides, for the $$ you cant find better clarity. One of our guides has a pair of Zeiss bionaculars in the same power and same size obj. lens. "Excellent product! Easy to focus after I figured out the diopter adjustment pops out. Much lighter than the HD's with the same clarity. Very very good light gathering at dawn and dusk. You can use these all day without getting eye (or arm!) fatigue. No fogging even in the rain. For most midwest hunting, these binos are all you need. Also has the lifetime warranty from Leupold."

"I have searched & read hundreds of reviews about alot of binoculars. The leupolds always were 4+ stars & I have a leupold scope, so I purchased the Mojave 10/42. I have used them aprox. 4 times & am completely satisfied. Low lite they should be illegal you can see so well. Ease of use, they are completely user friendly. Comfort is probably the best part about these binoculars. I thought after I purchased these I probably should not have spent the extra money as compared to the cascades, but these are so comfortable to hold I can not imagine buy anything else. Buy these & YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPOINTED!!!!!"
