"I bought the Socorro's about two months ago and so far they have held up well to all types of terrain I can throw at them. I just hiked a bird sanctuary located near the Hamburg Cabela's. Easy trails, hard trails with rocks and bolders. My feet were happy, comfortable, and stayed cool all day. These are the best sandles I own!"

"I enjoy these sandals to the max.You can wear these Socorro Sandals around the house,in the yard,at the lake,and at the store. They are the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn,light airy feeling,easy on easy off,and with my wide feet they fit into the medium width shoe nicely. And to put in a nut shell,these sandals are fantastic,and I would recommend them to anybody.And they are priced very reasonable compared to other sandals."

"Bought two pair (one for self and wife) of Socorro Sandals to take fishing along the Dominican Republic coastline. Huge mistake. The holes in the side certainly let some water out but not enough and the sandals pooled a quarter inch of water in the bottoms. This was on top of the water the felt under the footbed absorbed. The bigger problem was that the holdes in the sides let rocks, sand and other (coral/shell) debris into the shoe but were too high to let them out. It was a one way rock magnet! After one day feet were totally blistered from the water and cut and scraped from the other debris. And that was after stopping to take them off and clean them out every fifteen minutes! The final benefit to these sandals in the unbearable smell they produced after just one day wear (and that was after they were thoroughly rinsed out). I bought a $10 pair of water shoes at the gift shop of the hotel and they outperformed the Socorros in every category. If you are not on dry land the Socorros are a waste of money."

"Very comfortable. Wore them right out of the box daily on a cruise to southern Caribbean. On the ship , walking trails or on the beach they remained confortable. I always wore them without socks and did not experience any tender spots. They are easy on, easy off. The elastic type tie straps can be snugged up for rougher terrain. I feel a great value. Highly recommend."
