"The turkey skins I bought did not last the weekend they fell apart very easy. I would not recomend these to anyyone who plans on more than one use."

"I thought they worked well. I did encounter a problem with one of the wings. It became unattached from the body of the skin but I easly repaired it with some a piece of fishing string."

"i bout it to make my old decoy come a live put them on spring hunting in vt may 09 2008 . sat one on the ground with a skinz on it had a jake tried to bread it. it the last thing he saw. the life like feathers on it make it so real. thank you."

"The A-Way Hunting Turkey Skinz worked excellent. It drew in a flock of good sized jakes and one monster tom. The birds came right into the decoy, and in fact, there were a few hens in the flock that the males showed no interest in after seeing our decoy.
The only complaint that I have with this product is that when transporting the A-Way Hunting Turkey Skinz in your turkey vest, the feathers break off and/or become loose. I think the product will be good for a year or two, and then you'll have to throw it out and get a new one, cause it will be worn out."

"the turkey skin makes the decoy look good. however, you have to be extremely careful with it. i had feathers falling out after the first time i used it. i also had a tom spring to it like i've never seen before. it's a toss up....."

"I have never had luck with decoys until now. If he would have came 10 feet closer to them my client would have killed a huge tom. Poor setup on my part, but this tom thought the hens were real!"

"This product makes your collapsible decoy as close to the real thing as possible with the only exception being those very expensive stuffed birds. It is easy to attach and seems to be fairly durable. Carrying it to and from your hunting location requires some special care."

"Turkey Skinz are the next best thing to a real stuffed hen turkey. On the first day of use a mature hen got face to face with my decoy and just clucked up a storm. At one point I thought she was going to peck the head off the decoy. Turkey Skinz are light weight and easy to use. A little extra care is need when transporting them in your vest so as not to mess up the feathers. They are well worth the investment and should last a long time with proper care."

Great idea but product doesn't hold up,

"I purchased this for my husband. He had wanted two of them but I thought we would just try one for starters. I'm glad that's all I bought. It just doesn't hold up. The concept is great and of course it's realistic looking but the feathers easily break and bend. Everytime he has used it he brings it to the house to be repaired with a glue gun. It's just not worth the money and I doubt it will hold up very much longer. I hate writing bad reviews but this product had to have one."

Outstanding Product,

"This is one of the best turkey hunting products on the market. Why someone would spend $400 for a stuffed hen.....when they can get the same results with this....is beyond me....(but then again....the TV Boys have all the money anyway).
I killed three turkeys with a bow this year (two of them a longbow).....and I saw two more turkeys killed over the same decoy. All five of them in full strut and in love. One turkey was missed with a bow....and I was able to call him back because she was too good to resist. I saw more strutting turkeys fully commit to this decoy than I have in years!!! As far as it "tearing up".....I realized that from the get go....so I have a camo carry bag for it. Take care of it....and it will take care of you. Heck....for the cost of one stuffed hen.....you could buy 10 of these!! My season is over....but I just lent it to someone else. My bet is....another gobbler will be killed over it.
Bottom line.....this is an awesome product!!"

"I used a Turkey Skinz on one of my decoys.. I also have two mounted hens that I use. The Skinz do not look very good. The feathers are sewn onto strips which are glued to the frame. Many sets of feathers fell off. I am returning the TS as soon as I can get up to Cabelas. I had high hopes for these, instead I will get one more hen mounted"

"Looks awsome when placed on decoy. Season open in less than two weeks, can't wait. Placed decoy with Turkey skin attached and watched from blind, waited less than 20 minutes
and had three Toms come have a look at the new "Lady".

"This product works fine and is easy to use-- the problem I have is it is not real sturdy and if you move around alot the feathers keep falling off and I have to sew or glue them back on and you can't fold your decoy with the Skinz on. The Turkey Skinz do improve your average decoy and add movement and contrast even in the slightest breeze."

"When I recieved the product it looked good, a little bit like a molting bird. After the first day, I had to re-glue the feathers. After the second and third hunt, more glue. Some of the wing feathers have broke. I do hunt in KS and the wind has been stiff. I have used it now on five hunts and it is completly falling apart. On the up side, my last hunt, even with feathers falling off, did bring in a nice tom. All in all it is a great idea but I think a little more time in R&D would be better."
