"I have used other dog collars and had no luck with them. Until my neighbor sold me a used dogtra. The collar worked better than any I had used. I knew it was used and had a limited time of good use but the price was right. I was very impressed with the collar. As I had figured it did not last long being used and old. But I was convinced to purchase the same brand (Dodtra). I haven't used it on an actual hunt yet, but I am very pleased with the PREFORMANCE of it during feild warm-ups. The batteries have an amazing ability to hold their charge. The unit is very user friendly. The paging button (vibrate) is an awsome way to get your buddy to look back at you when she is over whelmed or distracted."

"My dog has always be easily distracted when off lead, and pulls constantly when on lead. We have been to dog obedience lessons since she was a young puppy and now graduated to intermediate classes, and the instructors have said I am doing everything correctly to teach her to heel. Yet, she still pulls!!! She gets excited very easily and is still only 10 months old, but within just the first few days on the Dogtra Training Collar she is now walking by my side! Walks are now enjoyable for both of us! She comes to me (when she is off lead) when I call her straight away! The Dogtra Collar has been so easy to use and I would definitly recomend it to anyone with the same issues as myself. I wouldn't be without it now!"

"This collar is great! I have a 100lb GSP/Pitbull mix that is a great companion, but sometimes can be a little stubborn when I command him around other animals or people. He's got a bad habit of chasing other animals, especially dogs, and although nothing has ever happened, I cannot take the chance. This collar has been excellent, and has a fantastic range. I take him swimming all of the time, and the collar and remote are completely waterproof. My only regret is that I didn't purchase sooner. I didn't want to spend as much as I did, but totally worth every penny."

"I have a twenty pound Boston Terrier and the unit seemed a little large at first, but it is working well. I have rarely had to shock him for correction, the pager (vibration) function is usually enough to get him back on track. Works great, no issue with range or battery life!"

"This is the only e-collar I have ever owned, so take my recommendation for what it's worth. However, I did do a lot of research before I purchased the Dogtra 1900. It came down to this unit and Tri-tronics. I went with the pager and the wider range of stim settings because my dog is on the sensitive side. This unit has been a solid and consistent performer through summer training. The pager is a great attention getter. Fantatastic battery life so far."

"So far I am very impressed with this unit. I have only had it for about a month. The transmitter is a small yet convenient size and easy to wear on a lanyard which I prefer. The collar and transmitter both appear to be of very high quality. The battery life is fantastic, I can use the collar for an easy 4-5 days before needing to charge. The carrying case is also a bonus. I bought this collar because of the reviews on here and the unique vibrating page feature which works great. I have not hunted with this unit yet, but so far for training I am very happy. My hunting partners have the other favored brand, and I prefer this unit because of the size and the amount of adjustability in the stimulation level. I would definitely recommend this unit........"

"The collar is what I needed to work with my dog when off leash. I got my dog at 10 month old, and he was with out a dout out of control. I had work with him for over a year and had great success with him,but I could not keep him from getting over excited around people and once any dog reaches a high level of excitement, all listing to any command goes out the window. The collar helps bring down the excitement and with the pager feature and adjustable correction settings I feel this dog may hunt!"

"I must say, this training collar does everything it says. I purchased a less expensive Innotek unit a few years back for a different dog only to be very dissapointed with it's performance. I've had the Dogtra collar for a few months and now have complete control over my 18 month old lab when outdoors, no matter what. The range is excellant, it is completely waterproof(submersible), there is no synching to do with the remote and collar, and the battery life is outstanding. I was reluctant at first because of the price, but read other reviews about this product, and couldn't find a single neggative comment. This was a great purchase that has allowed me to take my dog anywhere and keep him safe and under control."
