"I was always a fan of the Mister Twister Sassy Shads - but these were on sale one day and I picked up a couple packs. All I can say now is Wow! These have a far better swimming action that the Sassy Shad do and better color combos to boot. Since I first bought them, I've picked up several other color and size combos and quality is excellent on all of them. A Smallmouth killer on my favorite river!"

"all i can say is that i have finally found a replacement for a bait that used to be available at another sporting goods retailer. the action is unbelieveable. so far fishing with them for the short time the season has been open i have already caught several trout, crappie, and even a bass that was cruising the weed bed. this time i am definetly going to stock up so if cabela's ever get the "bright" idea of stopping production of these awesome baits i will at least have a small stash of them so that i can keep catching fish as well as these bait allow me to. Thanks to cabelas for providing a bait that will help me out fish my friends even better then i do with out the shads."

"When bass and crappie won't bite anything else this seems to always work. It's not the best, but it's very reliable. I use a 3 inch in reel shad color with a 1/4 oz jig head. It catches bigger bass than you would thank this little thing can catch. Try one."

Actiontail Shad for Canadian Pike,June 16, 2008

"I recently had the opportunity to use the fire tiger Actiontail Shad, fishing for pike in Saskatchewan. Early June seems to require a slow presentation for the big pike. The Actiontail Shad was perfect! It was a bit difficult to cast a long distance but attracted slashing strikes better than anything else I tried. I caught and released 212 pike, 80-90% of them on the Actiontail, over 5 days of fishing. I was glad that I took 4 packages of 10 frequently having to replace the bodies with those toothy pike. I highly recommend these lures!!!"
