"Highly recommend these brass bodies in 1 1/4" (largest size) for salmon in fresh water rivers. A great coho lure. Use #5 spinner blades to mimic #5 Mepps style spinner. Paint blade red/white with single size 2 straight eye hook. Paint body vertically half red/yellow. Cabela has paints. Beads (red/nickel) availble through Cabelas as well. These homemade lures work very well...the weight gets them down quickly where the salmon hold near bottom. You'll save a small fortune making them yourself. Also great for trout in smaller body/spinner blades."
