"This mattress, blow up bed, was exactly what we were looking for. Quick blow up, quick deflate, kept its air for the four consecutive nights that we used it. And it didn't rock and roll when one of us turned or moved."

"Great piece of equipment. Very heavy duty. The thick mil plastic makes it a bit bulky and somewhat heavy. Very solid. The charger works well and seems to hold a reasonable charge. Inflates the bed quickly. And the bed holds air for weeks without adding more. The queen size is a true queen. Added a matress pad to put some cloth between the plastic and the sleeper. Would buy again."

"Couldn't be happier. Bought it because of the claimed strength over PVC airbeds. Battery air pump only drawback for home use but understandable. Absolutely holds air. Worth the premium price over PVC beds."

Something IS loose inside the mattress., June 23, 2008

"I read the previous reviews on this product before buying it. After receiving the mattress, I used the accompanying pump to inflate the mattress and it did inflate in less than 90 seconds. I then placed the mattress outside against the house and left it overnight. By morning the mattress was deflated. I discovered, without the directions, that to close the valve you must turn it until it softly "clicks" closed. I left it out overnight again, and it did not leak. When I picked it up I heard something "loose" inside of the mattress. It's possible one of the "tethers" inside the mattress came loose from its mooring sight. It doesn't seem to bother the use of the mattress so I will just overlook it. All in all, I'm impressed. The mattress is thicker than normal vynl. It inflates and deflates as advertised. You turn the pump around and use the inlet side inserted into the mattress to deflate. It totally deflates the mattress. You could see the location of your keys if they were "lost" inside of the mattress. I will not use the mattress on open ground without some kind of tarp, either canvas (stronger) or vynl plastic (easily torn by rocks, sticks, etc). I haven't slept on the mattress yet, and I'm concerned about slipping off of it while sleeping. On the plus side, it's a wide mattress. Only time, and usage, will tell."

"Very durable material and comfortable. We bought the queen size to put underneath our Adam & Eve Ultra Deluxe Sleeping bag we bought. We bought the Home Trends Dream Puff Down Alternative Mattress Pad to put over the Queen Endura Bed. Now that is a comfortable night's sleep and not just for camping. The rechargeable pump works great and is fast."

"Over the years, I can now no longer sleep on rocks and need more than a blanket to get a good night sleep outdoors. I have bought many air mattresses looking for what this one promises: Durability and comfort. So far, I am not impressed.

Got the first one, pumped it up, and found that something was completely unattached inside, rattling around. Unlike some other mattresses, you cannot open up the interior, so there is no way to remove what is loose in there. Called Aerobed and they don't think there should be anything loose. Returned the bed to Cabelas, and showing how great a company they are, they sent me a new one express, without charge. However, when I pumped up the second one, I found the exact same ting: Something completely loose moving around inside the bed.

I am going to use the bed as is, and then will exchange it when I am near a retail store in the middle of the month (being 500 miles from a Cabelas is too far...). Will update the review later, if needed."

"We bought this bed for a car camping trip to Georgia and it worked out great! It fit perfectly into our Big Agnes 3 person tent and it took less than 2 minutes to inflate.

It was very comfortable and seems very durable and rugged. It will be something we use for a long time."

"We bought this bed hoping that it would be strong enough for outdoors and still comfortable and it faired poorly on both counts. Sticking to details; this is a vinyl bed but it doesn't have any 'velour' or flocking so you tend to sweat quite a bit; also the 'buttons' connecting one side to the other are really hard plastic, don't lean on them or you might regret it; the pump was a slick cordless version which was cool but while it filled the bed pretty quick it didn't make it very firm and we had all kinds of troubles trying to add extra air without losing what was already in there. My 15 year old son used it the next night and had similar complaints about the hard buttons. We haven't used it again. It is better than the regular cheapo vinyl beds but not by enough and for this cost I was hoping for better."
