"The main reason I bought the griddle was to use at family campouts for the Cub Scouts. In the past, breakfasts took forever on the smaller griddles. Last weekend, we cooked pancakes and sausages for 75 people on two mornings without any problems. We also cooked hamburgers for everyone for lunch. Afterwards, I folded it up and brought it back home. All the other dads had "Grill Envy".
Again, great product for a great price."

"After reading the other reviews for this grill, I expected to receive damaged merchandise, but was willing to take the chance. I was very pleased to receive my new grill in excellent shape with no damage. I also received it faster than expected, great job! The manufacturer must have made improvements to the packaging. I noticed on some of the other reviews they mentioned the seasoning was more difficult than desired with the protective wax paper coating the cooking surface comes with. I found it to be easy to remove and season. I bragged to all my friends about the grill's arrival and found myself cooking breakfast for about 30 people the next morning! I truly enjoyed my first cooking experience with this grill as I could easily accommodate the large group. I was very impressed with the heavy weight, reinforced cooking surface. I am convinced this grill will last for many years with its reinforced cooking surface that prevents warpage. I found little to no "hot spots" found with similar grills I have used in the past. The 4 burner design is a good idea to keep even heat across the cooking surface, instead of fewer larger burners. Overall I feel this grill is worth every dollar and have already recommended it to my friends and family. I would have rated this product "5 stars" other than I haven't used it for a long time so I cannot confirm the long term durability. I feel very confident it will earn 5 stars in the near future! If you are considering a large grill and want a great price, this is your unit!"

"I've had this unit for months and would highly recommend for anyone that enjoys cooking outdoors and for bigger events. I use this at least once a month for pancakes with a group of people. The shelving is poorly designed (why the 4 stars) as well as the drip tray. You cook a package of bacon and you're cleaning out the drip tray pretty fast. I do have a suggestion for those having drip tray issues, I made my own by taking a common household deep dish/cake pan and took a metal bracket, screwed into the inside of the tray and bent the bracket the same way the current drip tray is designed. Now I don't have to worry about disposing grease every 5 minutes. Great unit!!!"

"I bought this thing to use on elk hunts. I had no shipping damage but the igniter did not work. I corrected this by bending it to get a spark more direct in the gas stream. As others have said the grease trap if way undersized. I just sit a flat pan on the shelf and let it drip into that. I built a rack and shelf that attaches to the back for utensils and seasonings. After I seasoned it I have cooked eggs, omeletes, pancakes, bacon, corn bread flitters, fish, burgers, hotdogs, ham, hashbrowns, and sausage. Everthing cooked fast and nothing stuck. This seems like a great product. You would think as many folks that complain about the igniter and grease trap they would have rectified this problem by now. Otherwise its a great product."

"The cook station parts are rather heavy. When I received it all of the knobs and one valve were smashed and I thought the igniter was broken also. I received the replacement knobs and valve some time later and fixed the stove. I kept pushing on the igniter with no results so I took it apart and found out it takes a battery, duh. I'm now very happy with cook station and my friends are impressed at how well it works."

"I first saw this item on a camping trip. The group using it was cooking for around 20 people. They were able to sever everyone at the same time. When i returned home the first thing i did was order the griddle. There is some steup when you first get it. The only problem i had was the front leg had a dent in it. Since it didn't change the way it cooked i just keep it. To much of a pain to send back. The griddle we use all the time. Best purchase this year."

"As others, I did have some minor damage to one leg during shipment. A hammer did the trick to straighten out the problem.
The ¼ steel top is really heavy and gets smoking hot when all four burners are on high. In fact during the curing process, I used a cotton towel to help distribute the vegetable oil. When I was finished I sat the towel off to the side and it actually started to smolder. It would have caught on fire if I left it alone. On low does a slow cook. The top cools down in a reasonable time. This is great for cooking burgers, dogs, steaks, fish, ie flat thing. I’ll leave the regular grill for cooking chicken and big beef.
With the griddle top on the cartridge, the large casters really make moving it around very easy, even over the lawn! So far cleanup seems to be easy as the directions suggest. Leave all four burners on high for 5 minutes to burn away excess food. Then scrap it off. Wipe down with oil for storage.
My son in-law borrowed it at their summer BBQ. All the guys attending the outing now want one… I plan to give my son in-law one for Christmas.
Over all the thing is great and should last a life time…"

"Good Value for the dollar, this griddle does a great job of cooking. Things you need to know, company does not know how to ship this product, too many damage reviews including mine but Cabelas is in the process of sending me parts to repair with. I agree with other reviews grease trap is too small, I also see other reviews about not cooking well, I took my griddle to the mountains 1 day after I recieved it, I noticed that it does a great job in the heat of the day but in the morning when your propane bottle is cold you can not get enough gas to fire all the burners. I bought an adjustble regulator for mine instead of the preset one. Preset is fine in warmer lower altitude climates. As for the covering it is shipped with, this was very aggravating to clean off, I finally fired up the griddle all burners on the lowest setting and took dishwashing liquid, water, and a very stiff brush and cleaned it, then recoated it with cooking oil with out the tissue paper, this seemed to work very well. I love cooking on it, easy cook and easy clean."

"As others have said item was received with the burners out of place. The pins were too lite for the heavy burners. The piezo lighter also did not work as others reported. That said I still love the thing. It cooks great!!! With just a few minor changes from the manufacturer they have a winner here. The side trays could use to be stiffened up. I cook for a lot of people at my business and this product is flexible in preparing both breakfast and lunch."

"it is the griddle of your dreams and very close to commercial quailty .only one flaw .. the grease trap is very inefficent fry 5 lbs of bacon (or less ) and it runs down the leg...... so would recommend a longer grease trail and a bigger trap.. and the grease trail should slat a little.we improvised with a piece of foil and a coffee can and tipped the griddle just a little to drain the grease .. but wow how quit you can scramble eggs and fry bacon wonderful.i am ordering another for our next family reunion to cook fajitas and burgers ... by the way i have cooked in commercial kitchens all my life and i love this griddle .....need untensils sold to go with it...."

"When I decided to buy the grill, I had it shipped to the cabelas store instead of to my house after hearing how everyone was recieving the stove damaged. When mine arrived no damage whatsoever. Brought it home, put it together which was very easy. The only complaint I have is the so called grease they put on the surface of the grill to keep it from rusting in transit from the manufacturer. It is very sticky and tough to remove. Other than that the grill is built well and should last for years if taken care of properly. Buy one I'm glad I did!"

"The griddle worked good for our subdivision memorial day breakfast, we cooked pancakes for about 130 people. The only complaint I have is with the protective coating they had on it for shipping. It was hard to get all the plastic wrap off. Also upon heating it for the first time, the griddle warped when it was heated on high, and the spot welds on the angle iron reinforcements under the griddle plate, broke loose at one end. Also one of the burner control nobs sticks on and I had to pull the nob off and turn the stem by hand to get it to shut off. The griddle top returned to flat after it cooled back down. Maybe you need to have better start up instructions, like heating on low or medium before going to the high setting,"
