"The Frabill Min-02-Life Magnum Aerated Bucket is the Cadillac of bait buckets. After loosing bait to too warm of water, oxygen depletion and tired of having to pull my current bait bucket out of the water every time I move my small John boat I decided to upgrade to a better bait bucket. I purchased about two and a half dozen minnows at about 3:00pm on a bright and sunny Saturday with temps in the upper 80's. After four hours of technical difficulties (not with the bait bucket) I was on the water and the minnows were just as lively as when I bought them. I used about a dozen minnows and decided I would test the bucket to see if the pump would run for 24 hours like the package said. I left the bucket in the house and at 3:00pm Sunday the pump was still putting out bubbles and all of the remaining fish were still very lively. There are several things I like about this bucket. First the lid has some really handy holes to keep miscellanious fishing gear organized. Second the pump is quiet and puts out alot of bubbles. Third the run time of the pump is great. You wouldn't think two D cell batteries would run 24 hours but they do. The only thing I don't like is the lid allows some water to escape if the water sloshes like when you turn to fast and I am wondering how long the pump is going to last longevity wise but all in all I think it was worth the investment."

"I use this aerator all year long. Insulation keeps the ice out in the winter and the heat out in the summer. One D battery lasted from 7 pm on a Sunday night until Tuesday at 7am when I left for work...and it was still sputtering when I switched batteries. And that was in a 40 degree garage the whole time. The puck style aerator produces a larger volume of bubbles and it shows in the minnows. I consistently have the liveliest bait between all of the guys in our group day in and day out this year when we hit the hard water.
