"This is an excellant, rugged, well constructed product that makes access to the boat easier.
It was very easy to install. It is a little pricey, but as I grow older, I am opting for products that are long lasting and make my life easier."

Wish I had bought this years ago,

"This step helps when I put the boat on the trailer and I must go over the front side of the boat to attach the winch strap. It also helps when I climb in the front of the boat while it is on the trailer. It is a sturdy well made step.
I recommend you put a piece of wood like a paint stir stick on the top of the trailer rail where you are putting the step. This will keep the bolts with taking the paint off the trailer rail while tightening them. Once the step is tight, just lossen the top bolts to remove the stick and retighten. Ed"

Cabelas Trailer Step,
September 1, 2008
By biggums

"Pricy, but when you get it you will appreciate the quality of this item. I put it on the right front side of my boat trailer rail so I could have access from the trailer into the boat without the angle of using the trailer rail. The piece is a quality foot hold very beefy and easy to install. I use it all the time. It is worth every penny."

Trailer Step,

By Boatman603

"Great product...I mounted it on the front upright to allow front acces to my 22' bowrider when launching by myself. In fact I almost immediately ordered and installed a second step to make entry even easier. Great product, better than advertised. To be honest, I thought I was going to have to design and build my own step. This one is better. Thank you!"

Cabela's Trailer Step,
March 8, 2008
By LHH1

"The trailer step is a great idea! I installed it on a trailer that carries an 18ft aluminum fishing boat that due to it's flat hull design sits high on the trailer. The step has made it much easier to enter and exit the boat at home or at the boat ramp. It was easily installed and the fit and finish are top quality."

Trailer step,

"Have been looking for this type of product since I bought my Triton. It's extremely difficult to get out of the boat from the front since the trailer frame is tucked so far under the boat. The step solves the problem. It is very well made and is rock solid when installed. A little pricy, but seems to be worth it."
