Elk Fire Ring,

"The fire ring comes in 4 sections with a diameter of 36 inches. My fire ring needed to be 30 inches so I was able to cut about a foot off of one section to reduce the diameter. The section cut was easy to do, and actually looks like it was made that size. The 19 inch guage steel is a little bit thin, but I'm happy with the fire ring and it looks great."

"There are plenty of expensive fire rings and fire pits available. This one, however, is both inexpensive and attractive. It fits in perfectly with our yard, and works quite nicely for an occasional backyard campfire -- easy to roast marshmallows and hot dogs over, too. We purchased the "elk" model, and they look very pretty "dancing" around the fire."

"I was very disappointed in this product. I used it one time and now all the paint around the bottom is all burned off and the deer heads on it are half burned. The paint didn't hold up to the heat at all."

"Jsut picked one up in Glendale. I saw it sitting on the floor with others in the box inside the ring. Brought it home and started to set it up. Darn easy to set up, but boy is it HUGE. So before I bolted the 4th piece up, I gave it a look see with just 3 peices. Three pieces did the trick, and now I have a spare piece. With three sections bolted together it's still big, at 27" across. We'll be breaking it in on the 24th of may."

"The ring is large and easy to put together. The only downside is that is seems to be a little flimsy as far at the ring itself. I would not recommend it if you were planning to place a grill over it or put much weight along the ring edge."

"A very nice addition to our yard. Used landscaping blocks to build up around ring and add a little more character to the product, and just jazzed it up. Also, spray painted with heat resistant paint to keep the metal looking fresh. Makes for real nice gathering area for a group of people. Keeps the area looking "neat" in the daylight time."

"We love the fire ring. It looks great, was easy to assemble and is a great addition to our yard. The first time we used it some of the paint did bubble up and burn, but over time it should all oxidize and be fine. It was great quality at a great price and will be enjoyed for years to come!"

"My brother-inlaw wanted me to to make one for him from scratch..and when he told me the dimensions of the pit he had built ..this fit perfectly.. and better yet included the elk cut-outs.. he was pleasantly surprised and can't wait to use it..Gonna make an expanded metal top for him to use for grilling.."
