Coleman Rechargeable Lanterns,

"I've now bought 6 of these lanterns and sent them to friends and relatives as gifts. I kept one for camping and power outages.
The first three bought were painted in what I call "Candy Apple Red" and were a big hit! These lanterns give out a lot of light and quickly recharge. I highly recommend them as a good lighting backup and are also great camp lights. DH from San Diego"

"Used this lantern for a week at Elk camp.
Battery lasted just fine.
Gives out a nice amount of light.
I like the fact I won't be burning through
batteries. Just plug it in when you get

"I have used the traditional Coleman gas lantern for over half a century. But this rechargeable version is ideal. It isn't as bright, but there are no fumes, gas, or burn issues. Recharges from 120v or 12v. Best gift I ever gave my grandson."

"I purchased this lantern for my dad for Father's Day and he loved it. The only thing I didn't like was that there wasn't much light difference in the low and high setting. It seemed the same brightness, other than that it is great."

"Good quality you'd expect from a Coleman product, easy to use, however the brightness of the CFL bulb never quite reaches what one would expect after a full charge. Nevertheless, the latern works well to provide ample light during power outages or for lighting up a camping tent."

"i got this for a christmas gift the power went out so hey had to open it up and use it i worked great andthe light was bright enuff for them to see they loved it friends were asking where they gotand they told them cabela's....i plan to get one for myself....i'd recommand this to anyone just like they did thanks cabela's for such a fast deliverly and having such good thing's that truely work"

"This is a terrific light - I use it around the horse barn - especially in winter when it is always dark. Caution, though, the handle is supported only by the plastic cover, notwithstanding the heavy base. After one season of carrying it twice a day to and from the barn, the plastic cover broke away from the base.
Still a really good lamp."

"lantern is realy bright, charged 16 hrs as instructed,it lasted 6.5 hours on high setting then went out.Really satisfied with performance for my use at home/power failures,or at camp,no elect. till we get generator fired up.Wished it charged quicker .Just follow charge/turn off when dead instructions and you'll be satisfied"

"Used the new lantern on a recent camping trip. Gave the battery a fresh charge and for a one night camp the lantern worked great. The light reflection was a little harsh on the eyes when located to close to the group. When placed a distance away from the crowd, the light illuminated the area well."
