Tool Logic SLPRO,May 7, 2009
By KDSteelefrom Elk Grove, CA
"this is a cool little tool but i have had my problems. first and foremost the flint actualy fell out of the flashlight part of the tool but with a little ducktape that was fixed. second the flint was not as high of quality as a few other variations i have used but still is rather easy to use. my other problems were that the whistle is hard to use when attached to the knife and the blade didn't come as sharp as i would have liked (shaving sharp) but that was easly solved with a good sharpener. after i got the kinks worked out this has become one of my favorite new tools and covers all the basics of a good out door tool."

One tuff little knife,April 17, 2009
By Myikfrom Nunavut Canada
"This next generation of the original from Tool Logic has improved. The blade has a larger attaching screw and does not rattle with wear. The options of light and fire are combined. I have carried one of these on a neck strap for several years hunting in the arctic. Nothing starts a coleman stove at 40 below faster than that spark. No fooling with matches and cold hands. Better to hold the knife firm on a surface near the tinder and draw the flint back away from the blade as the flint is short. Stable and a big spark. The blade reflects well as a signal device and the whistle is a bonus. The blade holds a good edge for the price and does any reasonable task. I have been really pleased with this tool and it gives you a good edge, light, signaling and fire in one. If it was all you had when you "fell overboard with one free hand" I would take this one!"

good quality,May 6, 2008

"I bought this merchandise for using outdoor activities. Blade is sharp and quality and also flashligt but magnezium firestarter dissapointed me because it's only flashing not enough to burn any object. You shoud try more and more to get real fire but finally you will see the flashing part consumes rapidly. If you don't need to firestarter recommend you."

Tool Logic SLPRO,February 21, 2008

"A fellow camper last fall told me about this knife and how it's a great camping knife and excellent fire starter. Last fall we barrowed it and found a hidden feature. Unscrew the screw that attaches the handle to the knife and remove the handle. There is a little hook in there. We nailed the handle to a branch and were able to hang a small rabbit and clean it. It came in handy! So when Christmas came around I had to get my own! The only criticism is that the fire started/led light can fall out of the handle."

Fabuolus survivng tool/knife,February 14, 2008
By JensEfrom Copenhagen, Denmark, europe.
"I have one of this great tool/knife, i never leave home without it, i use it for both work and outdoors and at home, it's simply GREAT, it has a permanent place on my belt, right next to my LEATHERMAN CHARGE TTi, woudn't be without any of them. Anyone who enjoys the great outdoors should get one, and the built in torch with swedish magnesium base realy does the work, 3000F sparks easily sets fire to any kind of kindle, and the torch can easily light up a map. So all in all.....It could be YOURS life saver.
