"I purchased the single speed version two years ago and the Boss Magnum served it's purpose and served it well. When Accurate came out with the two speed version, I knew that the reel would be sheer power and speed. Out of the box, the reel looked and weighed the same as the single speed with the added convenience of TWO speeds.
First night out, I hooked a 10lb striper and the retrieve in either speed was like I was reeling in a porgy, NO problems. The reel performed flawlessly. The reel is on the high end, but you will absolutely get your monies worth with an accurate.
Striper season is on for a few more months and I cannot wait to hook a cow and test this reel to it's fullest potential. If you anglers are lookin for a hard knocks, no nonsense reel, you will not be disappointed!"
