Clamp mount secures easily to most transoms, gunwales and float tube motor mounts. All units have a 240-ft. depth capability, a built-in temperature sensor and operate on 6 AA batteries (not included).

Model 110 – This capable, economical unit accurately displays sonar data in detailed 160v x 128H 4-level grayscale.
Model 120 – Side-sonar capability gives you the ability to mark fish under docks and shoreline weeds, while 8-level grayscale enhances the clarity of the 240v x 160H LCD screen.
Model 130 – 320v x 240H 16-level grayscale provides superior clarity and detail. Fish can't hide from the 455kHz side sonar.
Model 140C – Vibrant 250-color images are highly visible on the 320v x 240H 4" color LCD screen. The 140C also features a 455kHz side-finding sonar.

"I was disappointed with the fact that the shaft part of the fish finder that goes into the water is so short that it will only work with a boat that is very close to the level of the water. If I would have realized this I would have not bought this model and I would have looked at the the other model that has a telescoping shaft. Unfortunately, that model is cost prohibitive."

"I used the Humminbird Fishin Buddy 130 and found the ease of set up and reading of the screen were just brilliant. We could identify known bottom structures and were able to find fish in places we never thought to look for them. Catching the fish is another thing entirely!

"I bought this model 130 fish finder unit for my Rangeley boat for trolling. The power button has to be pushed on average about 15 times to get the unit to come on. When the power button is pushed, the screen flickers on but never stays on until after I try 10 or 20 times. For this reason, I had already made plans to exchange at local Cabella's store in my area after my long planned fishing trip this weekend. I troll at approximately 1.3 knots to 2 knots. Anything above 1.3 knots and the unit pops up out of the mount. This unit is not satisfactory for use while the boat is moving. There is no snap or clip to hold the unit in place, just the downward weight of the unit in a cone shaped mount. Before the unit pops up out of the mount it jumps all around and if it didn't pop out it would most likely break the plastic mount. Other than the mount problems, the unit seems very user friendly and easy to use. After two days of use, mostly holding the unit in the mount, I never detected a single fish in the down looking beam, even though I caught fish and other people caught fish, so I know they were there. I tried several sensativity settings. This would be a great unit if it worked. Perhaps I have a defective unit but I am certain the mount design is not suitable for a moving boat."

"Easy to set up from the box. Good design. Very easy to attach. Lightweight. Have only had in the water once so far, on my jon boat, but functioned very well. Display read well in bright sun, graphics seem very good. I like the side looking sonar. Might need a lanyard of some sort, because you need to pop it out of the bracket when you are much above trolling speed. Although it is supposed to be water resistant, and may float, why risk it? Barring any surprises, this equipment is 5 star."

"I bought the 140c for use on my pontoon boat, and the first day I used it I broke the c-clamp. I used a tie down strap to hold it in place till I was done. The sonar works great, but the clamp seemed a bit weak. Humminbird sent me a new in four days. Can't beat that. If you are looking to get this sonar, just becareful where it goes on your boat, and understand you have to motor very slowly. I made a place for it to sit frame, and have no trouble at all working with it. It's a nice system."

"Purchased this Hummingbird fishing buddy for the purpose of Ice fishing.I have used it several times and have not been skunked jigging.I drill 2 holes side by side and place the fishing buddy in one hole and jig in the other hole.I use the supplied clamp holder secured to my sled.when it marks fish i jig and usually catch a fish,got numerous yellow pearch and brown trout using it.if it does not mark fish i try a new location and eventually score!!!this item is easy to use and has great features such as water depth and temperature which is important to me ice fishing.Most of the time i start about 1 foot off the bottom with my tip ups,if im marking alot of fish at a lesser depth i can adjust my tip ups as needed.it is a great device.Also battery life is approx.32 hrs on 6 AA batteries,i change the batteries after every fourth time out but it is on all day from sun up to sundown."

"I have a saltwater boat with a 24v remote drive trolling motor and these are not designed for wire ties and hose clamps when it comes to transducers. The Fishin buddies are THE way to go for getting sonar up front. Couldnt be easier than this as far as install and setup. I can side scan a shallow flat quickly and monitor deeper water by turning the unit and swinging the bow around. I used it for 5 fishing trips before the batts gave out. An avg of 3-4hrs scan time per trip. I keep it it in a custom made holder on the center console ( an over sized rod holder) and deploy it in seconds. I bought the 140 color version after reading reviews and it was well worth the cost diff to me. The side scan feature will SAVE YOUR ARM when searching flats for trout or reds. Us; more seasoned anglers will appreciate this. If you like to run and gun inshore- try one."
