This bait uses a wide body profile and realistic baitfish pattern to produce violent strikes. It has a luminescent inset, fish-calling rattles and 3-D eyes to enhance its realism. With a twitching retrieve, this shallow bait darts from side-to-side, imitating a wounded baitfish. Runs 0-24" deep. Per each. Size: 2-3/4", 3/8 oz. fish it slow and hang on!!, April 27, 2008

"Living on the coast of North Carolina, i have a huge collection of speckled trout lures in my arsenal, many which are different models of MirroLures. A friend of mine called me in December 07 and told me about this lure. He was catching 5 and 6 pound trout regularly with this lure. Evidently the juvenile menhaden winter in the creeks where the big trout winter also...bad news for the little bunkers! The MR17 looks just like a peanut bunker and boy does it work. Just cast it out, let it sink a little, twitch it twice, let it sit there and hang on! If you dont get a strike after the 2 twitches, repeat the process. Sometimes i have waited between 10 to 15 seconds between twitches. Trust me, fish it slow! It drives em crazy! I just caught my largest speckled trout to date last week on the pink/chartruese color. It was 27, 3/4" long, 14.5" in girth, and weighed 6 pounds, 12 ozs. My new favorite "big trout" lure!"
