"This is a pretty foolproof setup for keeping your pool water clean and sparkling. Installation is simple, and then it is a simple matter of keeping enough salt in the pool to generate chlorine.
The only thing that could be improved is to put a small battery on the control unit to retain settings. I usually unplug both the filter pump and the saltwater system when kids are in the pool, and it would make it a little easier at startup to not have to program the hour or two of chlorine generation each time.
But considering the price of the saltwater system and the ease of use even with re-entering the time to run, it's not a biggie and certainly not worth docking a star. The system works, the water is clean, sparkling, doesn't smell "chlorine-y" and doesn't irritate the kid's eyes. Can't do better than that."

"I have one of these things and I love this. I literally put salt into my pool and set the thing and forget it. Super EASY! I used to have all these chemical things and was always worried about doing it right or I might poison myself or something (I know a little over dramatic, but true) but this thing is so simple my 5 year old could handle it. I also find it safer than using the chlorine kind. If Jeff gets into it, it is just salt after all."

"Still undecided as its only been a couple of weeks that it has been used. I am disappointed with the control panel buttons. When depressed to open control panel, they seem not to register and we must reenter several times to get the setting desired. I would like to hold off any recommendation until I have had it working longer and pool water tested."

"Put this on my pool last year. Never had to mess with the pool again. It kept it perfectly clear and clean. Absolutely the easiest thing ever. Put in the salt and turned it on. Unfortunately, the ants have gotten into the box this year, so I may have to buy another. Well worth every penny! Makes my pool so easy to care for, no more stinky chlorine tubs and floaters. The salt is not noticable in the water and we only put it in once...I love this system!"
