Beware of Exceedingly Poor Quality!,

"I purchased these low hikers for general yard work and estate maintenance. They are not a great bargain considering their rather steep price but they fit great, support well, and I really like the overall design. However, the soles disbonded from both shoes and literally fell apart after 6 hours of light use! What a huge disappointment! I had to quickly grab my 7 year old Danners as a backup so I could finish the day. Do not waste your time with these shoes as they will let you down until Merrell fixes their quality issues! Fortunately, Cabela's is taking care of the return but it is still a major inconvenience and I am back to my old pair of shoes. Given my experience, I will not consider Merrell for any future shoe purchases."

"These shoes are excellent. I bought these shoes for work and love them. They are perfect for outside work because they are water proof and breatheable. The shoes are very confortable and they are the only pair of shoes that I have had that my feet do not sweat in."

"I purchased a pair of these boots 30 months ago.
Light weight and easy on the feet, in wet and snowy conditions worked realy well. Sadlly had to retire them during last trip into the high country, miss them badly. About to buy another pair."

"This is 2nd pair of this type of Merrell shoes for me, they are the best everyday pair of shoes I have ever owned. Extremely comfortable and I really enjoy the waterproof lowers & uppers. Also very light weight, you can't go wrong."

"Most comfortable shoe I have ever owned. Used one backpacking and my feet were in heaven. I do suggest that you get at least a half size larger than your typical everyday shoe size because of the elements and wearing wool socks."

"I bought these shoes for tough no-trail hikes in the mountains Southern Oklahoma and in/around Canon City, CO. These were great for hiking in extreme rocky conditions. We walked over tons of broken sharp rocks and I could not feel any of it due to the Vibram sole. The Vibram sole had excellent grip on all surfaces as well. I have worn these in heavy rain and walked through puddles and creeks and sloshy ground and the waterproofing was excellent. The rubber on the toe and the vibram sole was a life-saver in Colorado and Oklahoma when we were hiking through dense cactus areas. (although some did get through the side). These shoes were a great purchase and were comfortable even after a long day of tough hiking up and down rocky terrain mountains. Great product."

"I bought these shoes because of the brand recognition and I needed some quality day hiking shoes. I put no more than 15 miles on these shoes and the seams in the upper started separating in a major way. For the price, this is not something I would expect--at least get me through the first couple hundred miles! Merrell's out!"
