"I have tried a lot of boxes, and this overall, is simply the best. The compression foam slots hold the flies firmly and the box is buoyant and waterproof. Smaller scuds and WD40's can actually be stored back to back in the same slots, so you can really pack this full of all colors and sizes of your favorites. Larger hackled flies can flatten out in this box, but we all have more than one pocket! Also, there is no loop for a lanyard on these boxes. I drilled a small hole in one end and applied a small eyelet screw. Still waterproof and I don't have to chase a dropped box through the current.
The box is solid and sturdy, has a firm convenient latch, and is easy to handle while standing in heavy water.
In spite of a couple glitches, these are by far the best overall fly boxes I have ever found. This will be the only style box I will ever buy in the future. I now have three, and will eventually purchase more...."

"I am mainly a smallmouth bass fisherman and bought this box to keep my flies dry while I am wet wading. The box seems to be well made. Unfortunately, many of the flies that I am using are larger so the capacity is not that great. This problem I can live with but the box does not seem to close tightly due to the larger flies which causes me some concern. I have not been out with it yet in water that comes up over my pack so I do not know if the box will be waterproof. I would recommend this box for people who use smaller flies but the verdict is out for large bass type flies."

"This box is an amazing purchase for any fly fisherman, saltwater or freshwater. Recently, I went to my local Cabela's and made this purchase, and am extremely happy with it. I bought the medium size, and I am a freshwater fisherman who focuses mainly on brownies and rainbows. This box holds all of the flies that I need. In the bottom , I keep all of my large flies and my streamers, such as my black ghost and my zonkers. They fit nicely and nothing gets damaged. In the top I keep all of my dry flies, nypmhs, and bead heads. One bonus that you can't tell from the picture is that the middle flap is removable, so if you focus on big flies for salmon, or even saltwater, everything will fit. THis box is and excellent deal, and I would buy it again hands down!!!"

"My only issue, is I have to keep all my dries on the one side or the posts get flattened out by the insert, not a huge deal, but a lot of my posts and hackles got flattened before I realized it. All in all, a great box"

"What i like about these boxes is the sturdy looks and the solid feel. they are really strong and almost watertight. The only disadvantage is the size, i had hoped for a bigger box when i ordered mine, because i use them to store large saltwaterflies, even the XL is to small for the big ones."

"When I got this fly box, I thought it would be bigger but the dimensions on the site are misleading. The dimensions of the box are correct but its the design of the box that makes you lose about 3/4" in width and length.
I had to remove the internal flap because there is no way I could put in my salmon flies without crushing them. I love the friction foam for the flies but wish the box could hold half the flies it states it could.
The box is well built and of good quality... just think it needs a few fixes..."

"First impression of this box is great!. Its a little on the heavy side which is why I docked a star. I haven't had it out on the water yet, but the latch is as sturdy as any box I have ever seen. The box itself seems rugged. Good seal. The spots where the flies slide in are perfect, good spacing, nice and tight, no loose flies. Tons and tons of space for a box this size. If you haven't tried one of these page type boxes yet, do it."
