"This collar works perfectly. It holds the charge forever. I have had this for more than two weeks and use it twice a day and only charged the collar once and the transmitter just got its second charge two days ago. I do like the ergonomics of the buttons. Easy to use. The magnetic switch on the collar is a very good idea. No button to push and wear out, this collar should last forever. I am still excited about using this collar everyday and see how my dog is learning."

"Great product. Dropped it in the water and the transmitter floats. Easy to use, small, all around great product. Dog like the collar more then the Tri-tronics I had prior. Will buy Dogtra again if I ever need another."

"It worked for 4 months ,then the transmiter would not take a charge. I sent it back to be fixed. They sent it back not fixed. Dogtra phone numbers not working???? I did get someone from repair to return an e-mail asking about my address and the reply e-mail was bounced back. I also tried info@dogtra and that e-mail was bounced back. Could dogtra be another G.M. going belly up. Also when i sent it to be fixed they kept my spare battery! I would not buy any dogtra product at this point. However Cabelas was nice enough to help me. Cabelas is the best, will buy stock in CAB on monday."

"I was recommended this product by a pro trainer. It is the best e-collar I have used. The feature I like the best is the vibration mode. It will get your dogs attention without the guilt of zaping him. I used this in South Dakota for 10 straight days of hunting upland game. We were in the snow, rain, mud and even in the lakes. The wide range of stimulation is also nice to have. My dog is set at 17 and if he needs more its nice to know its there. Never a bit of trouble with the transmitter or the reciever collar. I would buy this product again in a minute!"

"Excellent product. The battery life is superb. I read some of the other reviews prior to my selection of remote collars and chose Dogtra after reading about some other brands having battery issues. I knew of a professional dog trainer who got free supplies from Dogtra's main competitor, but used an additional, paid out of his own pocket, Dogtra collar - that said a lot to me.
The response to reinforcing commands, especially at a distance is tremendous. I typically use a setting of 18. I can only imagine the dog that requires the setting at 127, but having the range in intensity is nice. The vibration mode is an excellent feature as well. I would highly recommend this product!"

"I wish I would've bought one sooner. I have GSP who has a mind of her own. I put the collar on her and have only had to use the pager mode to get her attention. She is like a different dog. Within 2 days I have got great results. I like the pager mode because there is no shock involved. I even tested it out on myself. I would say this is the way to go."
"the battery life has been excellent. the vibrate function is a great feature to have for a mild dog while the nick and continious feature works good for the second dog that is stubborn."
