"I just completed the restoration of a 1982 Gregor custom-built bass boat. The decks were replaced with 3/4" marine plywood and covered in Cabela's Ultimate Marine Carpet after sealing of the top and edge surfaces. The carpet was everything that I expected and more. It installed easily and looks great - better than the original! Watch the nap and keep it running all in the same direction and you'll end up with a job that you can be proud of."

"I replaced the floor and carpet in my 20 year old Lund. It turned out great! The quality of the carpet was very good. I actually had to order 3 seperate lots of carpet. Surprisingly, they all seemed to match just fine. Here's a tip for anyone putting in new carpet: Make sure you round the edges of the wood you are carpeting. Use either a belt sander or router. This will help keep the backing from showing when you pull the crapet tight."

"I used this carpet for the first time (cabela's Ultimate Marine Carpet) and found it to very easy to work with and gave a very good new look to my boat. The backing was solid and the pile was just right to give a perfect fix for box lids to closed snug. All folds and corner was covered well with no backing showing at all. Several friends could not believe it was not professionally installed carpet. If you find it a little stiff, put it in the sun and it softens up and makes it real easy to lay and trim. I recommend this carpet enough to write a review. I am sure I will get my moneys worth out of this carpet for a long time to come! Go ahead and try it, you will be glad you did--I am. Thanks to all of you that recommended this carpet before me!"

"As usual Cabela’s delivered quickly after my online order. My buddy and I had the old boat carpet stripped out ready to install the new Cabela's Ultimate Marine Carpet. We replaced ALL the carpet in my older fish & ski VIP. Carpet was easy to handle, trim to fit, and looks great... made my older boat interior look new. Took the better part of the weekend but was worth the extra effort. Did have a little problem with trimming around curves, the carpet tended to fray a little but after a little trial and error we were able to burn the frays and make it look great. Suggest keeping a sharp blade in your knife."

"The carpet feels really good, looks really good but there are some down sides to it. When you are going around a corner and with the grain of the carpet it it opens up a seam along the carpet just does not look that good cause looks like it will pull a part on the corner. I hope it will last for the money. We shall see."

"I used the Ultimate Marine Carpet to replace some worn out carpet on the wheel well fenders of my boat trailer. The carpet is nice and thick, yet easy to manage. You can't see the backing even when it's bent around at the edges. The blue color also matched the blue on the boat."

"Easy to work with. This carpet has no grain to it like house carpet, so you can lay it in any direction and it all matches. Has a rubber backing to it, which seem durable. Rolls over edges without showing backing. Worth the money!"

"I got the 8 foot width and was able to install the carpet on my 19.5 foot bowrider in one piece!. No seams anywhere? The carpet is nice and dense. You can't see the backing even where the edges wrap around. The carpet cuts evenly and didn't have any problems with unravelling. I was able to easily smooth out wrinkles. The carpet feels nice under foot. The knap feels a bit stiff, but I think that's becasue it's brand new and will quickly soften up. My old boat looks brand new! My order arrived promptly and was in good shape. I would definitely recommend the Ultimate Marine Carpet AND Cabela's to friends. Thanks Cabela's"
