"I love these boots, Easy on Easy off with zipper. Light weight, Waterproof. This is the second pair I have owned. They last a long time although it would be nice if they could be resoled. I have worn them everyday for work and for riding motorcycles."

"Extremely comfortable out of the box. Fit very nice. Walking or standing most the day & feet never hurt. Not so easy to get on as 6" zipper boots but not bad at all. I like these boots & Think they will last a long time!"

"Was in the market for a work boot and to ride my motorcycle, I wanted a boot that was light, support my ankle and waterproof. I must admit that I was a bit reluctant to purchase a zippered boot that was a bit pricey; however, these Danner 8" All-Leather Striker II Side Zip Boots are amazingly light, very comfortable, easy on and off and definitely waterproof!"

Danner Striker Boot,August 25, 2008

"I ride a motorcycle and work in the construction field. I've been looking for a good work boot which could double as a motorcyle boot. This Side zipper Danner filled both requirements. It especially earned praise when i got caught in a rainstorm on my way home. With my rainsuit and these boots i was completely dry when i got home 30 miles later. Danner is the best brand of boots i've ever owned."

"I haven't wore them in the rain yet to give a complete satisfaction. I do wish the side zipper had a strap to secure it as I found it rode down when riding my motorcycle on long trips. The boot itself is comfortable."
