"Great tough canvas pants with carpenter accessory loops and pockets. A loose fit alternative to denim. Super pants for the jobsite."

Just a little too short, shorts,March 24, 2009
By 19tiger51from SoCal
"I have a lot of Carhartt shorts and I do really like them. The only "complaint" that I have, and the one thing that keeps them from being a five star short to me, is that the inseams are about 2 inches shorter than I personally would like them to be. Other than that, I love them. They have the two smaller leg, or tool, pockets. The inside one is nice and deep so I can carry my cell phone safely. It is much easier to access my phone from the thigh pocket than it would be if I had to carry it in a side or back pocket. That way I don't have to sit on it (the cel phone that is!). Also, there is the second, smaller leg pocket where I clip my razor knife that I often use at work. Comfort and quality are two other factors that make these shorts a winner in my book."

What is Carhartt thinking?,August 3, 2008

"My husband is a 6'2" carpenter who really needs "canvas carpenter shorts" but not a 13" inseam. When he bent at the knee they would bind unless he pulled them up which is not practical for a carpenter."

excellent quality for comfort and value,July 2, 2008
By wolfsongfrom Tulsa, Ok.
"I recently bought these Carhartt canvas shorts and the quality and fit is second to none. Cabela's discount on buying multiple pairs makes this deal too hard to pass up. I would definitely buy more of these in the future!"

Everyotherday,April 22, 2008
By casethrowr579from notatworknow, IN
"I have 2 pair that I wear every other day at work. They provide protection and promote mobility in a fast-paced, fully 3-dimensional work environment. I hope they last more than 6-months before the crotch stitchin blows-out beyond the point of decency (as their cousins: carhart washed duck work shorts did). I believe the canvas material and carpenter cut will make these shorts last longer in that area. Nevertheless, wouldn't wear anythng else."
