"The journal is great. The only thing negative is that the manufacturer puts these big white stickers on the back of the LEATHER journal. If you heat them up really good with a blow dryer the majority of the sticky stuff comes off but it still leaves a little residue. I tried sending it back and spoke with customer service but all the journals have these stickers. Besides that the journal is great!"

"I wish as a youth that I would have had the oppertunity to keep track of the game that I have hunted . This past hunting season was the first year that my son of 16 years took his first white-tail. I was as proud as ever, then the thought of keeping records of his adventures to share with his son in the future came to lite. The journal is very detailed. I think that having a place for a snapshot is a great visual reminder as well. I gave the journal to my son for his 16th birthday , I really do believe by the look on his face that I indeed gave him the gift of a life time. I hope that I will be able to pass on the pride of being a good,ethical hunter. He is my pride and joy , and to be able to record in writing and pictures the hunts that we shared together is fantastic."

"I purchased this journal for my husband for Father's Day as a gift from our 2 month old son ( he couldn't quite do it himself!) and it was the best idea I have ever had. He cannot wait to get the little guy out and start recording all the things they do together in it. Fishing, Hunting, Treasure Hunting everything! It will later become an item that will be passed down from Father to Son. Although a little pricey, if you are looking for that "little something different" that won't be expected I highly recommend this journal. The quality is beautiful."

"This Journal is Very Nice. Enough lines for general questions and, photo pouches for your photos from each adventure. A Thick leather cover gives it a HEFTY feel, even if it doesn't hold all of your experiences (YET!). The strap is a little stiff but It should loosen up with experience. A great Choice for the Romantic Hunter Longing for the old times.
When I finally fill mine up I'll have a second one ready for more adventures.
