"This holster is made of soft leather and fits easily on a belt. It will protect your unit from being scratched and it features ejection technology that pushes the Taser into your hand when unsnapped. It also has a metal plate that rests inside the holster in front of the cartridge in case of the unlikely event of an accidental discharge. This plate prevents the probes from penetrating the holster. I don’t believe the other off brand Taser holsters have this safety feature. I would like to see Taser come out with a hard plastic or horsehide leather holster but this model will do the job."

"I carry the Taser x-26 while on duty in uniform. The x-26 is an awesome tool. Unfortunately Taser does a very poor job on their holsters. They are fragile, and too slow to deploy. So I bought an aftermarket brand.
I bought the C2 to carry off duty. I ordered the Taser brand holster. After studying the online pictures it looked like it would meet my criteria. Unfortunately it did not. The belt clip is designed to fit only narrow belts one inch or so in width. The design of the holster does not lend itself to an easy one hand draw; a critical component in my selection of a holster as I may need to draw in a split second, one handed, while fending off the threat with my other hand. Also, too much of the holster covers the grip.
I Kept searching on line until I found a tuff one that would meet my needs. It is made out of heavy nylon cordura, has a thumb break, just like most firearm hip holsters, is reversable so it can be worn right or left handed, and is made to be easily depolyed with one hand.
This is the first time I've ever returned anything back to Cabela's. I must say I was very impressed with the ease and efficientcy of the return."
