Mossberg Replacement Shotgun Barrels

Mossberg replacement shotgun barrels let you replace and customize your Mossberg 500, 835, 935 and Remington 870 shotguns barrels. Mossberg 500 and 835 Ventilated-Rib Field Barrel - Includes Accu-II full, modified and improved cylinder choke tubes. Tubes fit flush with barrel end. For use with lead shot. Accepts Mossberg Accu-Steel choke tubes for use with steel. White front bead and brass mid bead. Available in Woodland camo. 12 gauge only. Model 500 barrels fit six-shot Model 500s and shoot both 2-3/4" and 3" shells. 535 and 835 barrels have 3-1/2" chambers for shooting 2-3/4", 3" and 3-1/2" loads. Model 500, 835 and 935 Trophy Slugster (TS) Barrels - There's an integral scope base for mounting standard-eye-relief scopes. 1-in-36" rifled twist stabilizes slugs to improve accuracy. Blued finish. Base accepts Weaver and similar style rings. No sights. Scope not included. 12 gauge only. Model 500 barrels fit six-shot Model 500s and shoot 2-3/4" and 3" slugs. Model 835 barrels have 3-1/2" chambers. Model 935 Barrels - Choose a 24" cantilever Trophy Slugster (TS) rifled slug barrel in matte or Mossy Oak? Break-Up? finish. Also a 24" turkey barrel with adjustable fiber-optic sights and ported turkey choke, and a 28" waterfowl barrel with Truglo fiber-optic sights and Accu-Choke set; both in Mossy Oak? Break-Up?. Mossberg Barrels for Remington 870 Shotguns - The best deal going on replacement slug barrels for Remington 870 shotguns. Scoped Combo - Fully rifled for optimal slug accuracy, these 24" barrels come topped with a Bushnell? Sportsman? 3-9x32mm scope pre-installed in Weaver-style rings and laser bore-sighted. All you need to do install it and take it to the range to dial in your zero. 12-gauge models available for Mossberg 835, 535 and 500 as well as Remington 870. 20-gauge model available for Mossberg 500.

Mossberg 835 Replacement Barrel with Scope, November 14, 2009

"I had high hopes for this product based on the other reviews here, but be fore warned if you plan to purchase this product:

1. The packaging appeared to be in great condition when the barrel arrived; however, when I removed it from the packaging there were numerous scratches and the barrel was dirty. (I should have sent it back right then!)

2. Went to the range and the first shot at 50 yards didn't even hit the paper! Finally I realized (this thing is supposed to be bore sighted remember) that it was shooting 18 inches low and 24 inches to the left!

3. Once I finally got it to the paper (a full revolution on the up side, and two revolutions to the right) I can't get a group. It is literally all over the paper. I'm using a sled so the human element is completely removed.

I have spent 20 rounds, have a sore shoulder, and wish I had never ever even considered purchasing this barrel! Not to mention the fact that I'll be sitting in a tree with my bow now instead of my shotgun. I think this product is so terrible that Cabelas should no longer offer it!

I wouldn't pay someone to take this barrel and scope!!!!"

"I am not sure whether it is the barrel or the ammunition being used, very little accuracy can be achieved when using this barrel.

I tried several differnent saboted slugs thru this barrel. The expensive Hornady saboted slugs, not very accurate. After trying several different brands, I found the Federal saboted slugs were the most accurate of all. The hunting season will tell if this purchase was overall worth my investment."

"Second order from Cabela's . The 18 1/2 inch Mossberg barrel was received faster than the projected date .This item , as my first order , arrived in perfect condition . The replacement barrel fit my Model 88 Mossberg Maverick perfectly . Cabela's had the barrel in stock and priced cheaper than several other suppliers . All the other suppliers were out of stock and would have approximately 30 day back order . I would certainly recommend Cabela's and this product to all my friends ."

"I love my Mossberg guns but i do have a beef with the quality dept. i recieved my new slug barrel for my 935 and couldn't wait to shoot it. deer season is not far away and was headed up north to my property. thought i would take the 935 along and took my new barrel (still in its original package). when i got to the shooting range all went south! the barrel would not fit onto the gun!! the spring was warped, bent, or something of that nature. it would not slide on!!! Had to send it back to Cablea's for replacement. The only thing shot was my day at the range!!!!"

"I bought this to have an replacemment barrel for my Maverick model 88. It took about 2 minutes to replace the orignal barrel and works great..Also put an NCstar on the tube. The whole setup was less expensive than buying a new shotgun."

Mossberg 500 rifled barrel for scope, August 24, 2009

"I had used one of these barrels before, this one is every bit as good, maybe better with the ports in the barrel. Bore sighted, I had to come right 3 inches at 50 yds; it is 1 inch high at 50 yds. I am using the Federal Barnes Expander 2.75 inch .75 oz tipped saboted slugs at 1900 fps. Winchester 1 oz saboted slugs at 1350 fps landed about 10 in low, 3 in. to the left. Made in Mexico but a very good buy."

"After shopping around at numerous places, both in person and on line, I found the price at Cabela's to be the least expensive for this barrel. The Mossberg replacement barrel was shipped and delivered in a very timely manner, as all of Cabela's mechandise is. This turned what is my primary hunting shotgun into a pretty effective home defense weapon, saving me hundreds of dollars by not having to purchase a separate shotgun for this purpose."

"I love my new mossberg replacement barrell. I live, fish and hunt in alaska. When you want stopping power dont buy a 44 mag go with the 12 guage and a mix of OOB and slugs. Cabela's always comes through. Its hard to get stores to ship to Alaska. But They have never let me down. Thanks."
