Big third hand,September 23, 2008
By Tsolarfrom Utah
"Generaly speaking, in the world of fly fishing, everything is as small and light as possible. Though this rod holder is handy, it is also bulky, especially concidering 99% of fishing vests already have one built in."

Disappointing hand,January 29, 2008
By Billsreview2007from Western NC
"The magnetis is strong however there is nothing to keep the unit from sliding off. Also there is no padding to project the rod in the holder."

A great idea for keeping my hands available,January 26, 2008
By Backlash2
"I find this item to be very useful when changing flies and when releasing a fish. The proper placement on my shoulder is very important and took a little experimenting. This solves a problem I've had for years."

Too Heavy and Bulky,January 13, 2008
By RPM2from Prescott, AZ
"While a solid idea it is poorly executed. The product is just too large, heavy and bulky, I never even put it on my vest or wading jacket. A rod holder for those vests/jackets...etc that do not have a built-in rod holder would beneficial this one did not meet my needs for keeping weight and bulk down to a minimum."
