Great Colours and quality,July 4, 2009
By AZWoolybuggerfrom Phoenix AZ
"I love Jay Fair's colours and quality. I have used and will continue to use other feathers, but I love the burnt orange and burgandy from Jay. Quality seems to be similar to the other big name feather companies."

Not-So-Premium Marabou,October 24, 2008
By Flycaster365
"I like Jay Fair feathers for the top quality and the rich and unique colors you can't get from other suppliers. However, this batch was disappointing. First, the feathers weren't fluffy but clumpy so I had to discard a third of it to get to the good stuff. Second, the color was not as rich or deep as the ones I purchased a few years back. I'll probably not order this item online; you really need to see for yourself."

Jay Fair Premium? Marabou,June 23, 2008
By Anonymousfrom San Diego CA.
"This is potentially the worst selection of marabou I have had the misfortune of tying. The feather is thin and inconsistant in strength. It could be that I received a poor batch, or it may be that the product is inferior to most any other brand I've used."

Damsel Flies,January 15, 2008
By azflytyerfrom Arizona
"I like Jay Fair's Premium marabou for tying damsel nymph flies. The pattern I use has a maribou tail and I wrap the body with the long strands of marabou like I would peacock herl. Jay Fair's marabou has plenty of these long webby strands to tie the flies with. These marabou flies are a sure bet during damsel hatch and sometimes as a general attractor fly. Glad to see Cabela's adding this product to their fly tying materials."
