The coat also has two, lower cargo pockets with storm flaps on the top and side-entry handwarmer pockets behind. And it has a zip-close chest pocket. Machine washable. Imported.

"I ordered an L because I wanted the coat a bit more roomy -- so I could wear a down vest underneath if I wanted. It fits perfect and the sleeves are generous. Love the snap gussets at the bottom edge of the coat, as well as the two-way zipper with a snap flap cover. The lining is nice on a windy cold fall day!"

"This coat is very comfortable. I could probably have ordered a size smaller, but I think it will be fine and it leaves room for layering during colder months. I ordered the Driftwood color and like it as it coordinates with most other colors and does not show soil from using at the barn. I love all the pockets and the side snaps allowing more comfort while riding. I do wish the outer fabric was a tighter weave and a bit more substantial. I would order this coat again."

"Well made coat no velcro anywhere. I washed the coat and it did not shrink . The fabric seems durable yet it is soft. It is a good warm outside farm coat but goes to the city when needed. I recommend and I would buy another one. A quality coat at a reasonable price."

"This coat is everything that I was hoping it would be. Its color is true to the description (I chose Driftwood). It keeps you warm on those 10 degree days without being a typical big bulky winter coat. It's a nice length, falling just below your derriere. I typically wear mediums in clothing. This coat in small fit nicely too, but I preferred the medium so I can wear sweaters and still have room to move. Its outer fabric seems quite durable and I'm confident it will last a long time. The fleece lining is a really pretty fabric and is cozy. I highly recommend this coat!"

"This is my second purchase of this coat. I use one on the farm and the other for casual wear.
Tough coat, holds up well for farm work, the pockets are indispensible for horse things, gloves and such and fairly warm unless it gets into the 30s and the wind is blowing. Great to ride in as well.
I will keep buying them as long as Cabela's makes them and I can manage to wear one out.....I still have one that I purchased in 2004 that is still going strong after 5 years of tough wear."

"This ranch coat delivers style, quality and warmth. I love the color, Sedona–a dark red, not at all garish–as well as the lining colors and design, and it has all of those pockets that even a mama kangaroo would love. I haven't found a use yet for the vertical chest pocket, and the two side pockets are a bit low, but they still provide warmth on a cold or windy day. Luckily, previous purchasers provided a useful warning about size. Had I ordered the coat in my regular medium size, it would have been too small. The large size is perfect for allowing a sweater to be worn underneath, and although the sleeves are a bit long, snapping the cuffs to be slightly narrower fixes this. My ranch coat's maiden voyage was on a cold, very windy day, and it kept me completely warm. I highly recommend this very functional and attractive coat. stemmer"

"For so many reasons:
1. It is sturdy. Have seen others that seem flimsy by comparison. 2. It is warm yet it breathes. The fleece lining is warm when I need it; despite NOT being removable, I never get overheated. 3. It is somewhat water resistant. Not totally waterproof, but I can wear it to dodge a few raindrops to get from a quick point A to point B. 4. It is true to size. I was afraid I'd be some "in-between" size, based on the other reviews, but I got the Large and it's perfect. 5. It has plenty of pockets. Storage of any size abounds in this coat! 6. It has a 2-way zipper AND snaps! Makes it easier for me to get to pants pockets by unzipping from bottom. And if it's not too cold, the snaps close the coat up just fine.
I have had the coat about a month: Have worn it to school with a backpack over it; out for a dog-walk; driving in a car for 3 hours; walking several city blocks in the rain; and out on the skeet range in sub-freezing temps.
This coat performs--it will do what you ask of it and always looks good doing it! I highly recommend this coat, its quality and functionality can't be beat."
