"The Under Armour 3.0 shirts and pants are pretty expensive, but probabaly worth it. I use them under my suit during winter in Ohio- and they are comparable to Polartech with less bulk. It would have been easy to be disappointed too considering the price."

"Although more expensive than competitors, I would recommend this product. It definitely keeps you warm on the cold winter days in Northern New York State. It fits quite comfortably under a vest and uniform. I have the top and bottom and well worth it."

"I recently picked up a set of the Under Armour Cold Gear 3.0 gear after we went through a week long cold spell of -20 degree weather. I was wearing them underneath jeans and a t-shirt while I worked and while running errands around town and they made the cold bearable. I look forward to seeing how they stand up to even colder temperatures in the future. Highly recommended."

"I've got to confess that I am very impressed with this product.
I ordered the full set and instantly knew where the money went. The 3.0 is perfect for hunting situations with little movement (deer, duck, squirrel, etc). I would probably suggest a lighter pair when there will be a lot of activity (bird /rabbit hunting or skiing).
The material worked very well to release body heat and keep me cool while I was walking. The instant I stopped, I could feel body heat being trapped again.
I (34" waist) was unsure of U.A's sizing. I ordered the medium size set and they fit great! I look forward to many years of hunting with these. They make cold weather comfortable."

"I received my Under Armour® Cold Gear Base 3.0 tops and bottoms just in time for my volunteer duties as bell ringer for the Salvation Army. The temperature was a cold and blustery 18 degrees with 30 mph winds and blowing snow. As I stood there warm and toasty in my Under Armour® gear, patrons assumed that I was cold and shriving which tugged at the heart strings and perhaps made them dig a little deeper into there pocket books. I will be testing them again as I will be fly fishing in frigid conditions in southern Missouri next week. I would like to also extend a heart felt thanks to all who donate to there local Salvation Army kettle drive."

"I found this product to have great mobility for allowing you to shoot with ease.I wore this product under a shirt and parka while duck hunting in 15 degree weather,it kept me warm and comfortable.I would reccomend this product to anyone that is likely to hunt in lower temperatures."

"I have two sets of the 2.0 Base Layer and as it was getting colder I realized I wanted something that would do the job a little better. I purchased the 3.0 because the 2.0 was so helpful and I was equally satisfied. I like these base layers a lot more than the standard cold gear Under Armour. They are more flexible and easier to put on. They aren't as form fitting so they are more comfortable to wear. They are also much thicker which keeps you much warmer. I wore these in my Iowa Deer Blind this year and it was 0 degrees. My feet and hands were cold but my chest and legs were not thanks to this base layer. Excellent product, I am saving up for another set."

"This cold weather layer is definitely the one to have on a really cold day or when on your stand during deer season. I have already used this for deer and duck hunting and the product performed as advertised. The fit is more loose than the typical U/Armour compression fit and is heavier than the normal cold gear that U/Armour has available. I like the looser fit and the softer feel for this type of garment. The only improvement I would like to see would be in the fit of the cuff. The fit is not as snug as I would like, but it is not a really big deal."
