Another exciting new feature is the night-glow illumination that color coordinates with the color of the bezel. The black PVD-plated, stainless steel case back is secured with stainless steel screws. The unidirectional, carbon-reinforced bezel has 60 large teeth (one per second). It's water-resistant up to depths of 200 meters. The jeweled Swiss quartz movement and tempered scratch-resistant mineral glass crystal provides exceptional clarity. Comes with a sturdy signature rubber strap. Case diameter: 1.72".

"I have owned the first generation and it was in destructible. The watch band finally gave way after years of abuse and the watch fell to a wooded trail and remained there through a winter and spring. I found the watch while turkey hunting and except for the hour change in time it was still keeping time accurately. That watch is now attached to my hunting pack. The new EVO has a larger face and is easier on the eyes to read. I look forward to many years of service from my new watch."

"I do like the accuracy of the watch, and the illumination. However, I did experience twice condensation build up. I was careful not to subject the watch to a jacuzzi, or showers. I had not dove with the watch either. Otherwise, I like the watch and i will exchange it for one with a screw in crown"

"The watch's face is easy to read in day or night. At night the numerals are bright and don't blend into one another. The thing I find aggrevating is the ring bezel rotates when it is bumped. I find myself re-orienting the bezel 2 or 3 times a week. I would be an improvement if the bezel spriing was tighter. Otherwise the watch would have received a 5 star rating."

"I have known many who have owned Luminox watches and they have performed well under various conditions, for many years. I purchased the EVO and right out of the box there was a issue with the adjust so I returned it. The next one ran well for about three months, then the timing got way out of sink, two hours fast every day. No more EVO, going to the original Luminox where many have had success with no complaints."

"Within the first two weeks of owning this watch (and wearing it daily), I ventured into the ocean just to swim, play in the surf... no scuba. Afterward, I rinsed the watch thoroughly in clean, cool freshwater. I noticed condensation beneath the bezel, and it never went away. Cabela's graciously exchanged the watch for a replacement. The replacement lasted just over 3 months of daily wear, but then the second hand fell off and was just sliding around under the bezel. I have not subjected these watches to any abuse and 2 for 2 they failed me miserably. Thanks to Cabela's great customer service they have accepted return of the watch for store credit, however, I really liked the look, design, and feel of this watch and would have preferred to have the product live up to it's reputation."

"This is my second Luminox Navy SEAL series watch. The first one is still going strong after 6 years. The numbers on this new watch are larger and very easy to read. The illumination system is awesome and I like not having to push any buttons for a back light. The strap is very flexible and comfortable. Despite the larger size of the watch it is very lightweight. I've had mine submerged a couple of different times for up to 40 minutes with no problems at all. Not that any of this is a surprise. I bought this watch based on how well my first one has performed over the past several years. I would highly recommend it."
