"The soft suede-like fabric cover on the comforter and the embroidered pine cones are beautiful with a really wonderful 'hand'. I really like the way they look and feel. The comforter is very thick, which is actually too warm for my house even with the heat turned low at night; I'll have to find an alternative in summer because it would be unworkable then. It's cozy and toasty, for sure! I have some complaints, though. The plaid on the back is flat out ugly, and the green does not go well with the suede on the front. The fabric stays in place well, but it does nothing for the looks of the set. I threw away the bedskirt and try to hide the back of the pillows because of this. The 'coordinating' shams for purchase extra are therefore also worthless. Instead, I purchased the brown pine cone pillows, which look very nice on the bed. It appears the white-tailed deer pillows would also coordinate well. Another complaint is the lack of coordinating window treatments and sheets. For window treatments, I suggest a warm brown suede with or without the embroidered embellishment. As it is, that's what I plan to get. Definitely not the ugly plaid valance... Even with the plaid (did I mention the plaid was ugly?) I still rate the product 5 stars due to the quality of the UPPER side of the comforter and pillows."
